I saw Scheider in a 1967 episode of NYPD where he went under the name Roy R. Scheider. Obviously, he experimented using his middle name initial for a while.
This film is surprisingly well-made. How, for instance, did they stage and light that subway station with so many extras on a seemingly limited budget?
I had no idea this existed. I have followed Scheider for a long time and never saw this mentioned in any of his bios. Thanks for posting. Also: Looking forward to IRON CROSS.
