@Pugartes I feel you.. I felt the same way.. but Ifinally realized once my Grandfather died.. that he was EVERYTHING my father never had the capability to be. He was the Father of all fathers and I miss him dearly.
its tragic to grow up with no father. we can end up choosing bad mates because we are looking for attention we didn't get growing up.. Fathers are IRREPLACEABLE!!

I agree with you sis! there are some who did have one, but grew up not knowing the love of a father... both situations are tragic. I hope you will find peace and rest in the knowledge that there is one who looks after the orphaned and the fatherless children! Know that you are loved and that there is a love that truly is unconditional! I love this song!

Im feeling the same way. I'm tearing up too..Mary did a great job expressing her feelings, in which, she never really shows emotion I've noticed over the years. But I love this song.
