@yamine182 a song about our culture... that we're made into different people by a consuming greedy society... "love will concuer all", basically this song says anarchy let's out the real you
@ozricthebad I first saw em in august 83 at brannighans in leeds. The nearest i'd been to anarch punk before them was the exploited (ha ha). these were a whole new ball game for me and i was very impressed with the lyrics, intensity etc. saw em again in october 84 but the venue was too big and lacked atmosphere. then saw em in may 90 in nottingham. Saw some great gigs at brannighans. great venue - basement club, low ceiling etc. Can still smell the hairspray.
Yeah, and because of it they were pretty much banned from playing gigs in Britain for at least a decade because of the riots that a couple of their shows started. They spent a long time just kicking around the US. I guess that stopped when anarcho punk became profitable though.
I saw them a while back in California...and then I went to England to see them again...Conflict is just the most awesome band ever. I love them so much, especially this song...
if you ever think your life is just not worth living/if you doubt you have anything left at all, worthy of truly giving/when life's not making any sense, you're filled with anger and resent, remember...
