I heard Mexicali is dangerous now as of August 2009 is that true? can anyone confirm how safe it would be to transit in the streets? I hear a lot of rumors about gunshots and stuff like that
well yeah, it is not the safest place to be. we didn't have any problems when i was there in the spring. but, we almost wern't allowed to go because of all the gang violence at the border. i guess it was a risk i was willing to take.
