@1tabligh First of all, atheist means no belief in a theist god, NOTHING ELSE. "The atheists" don't believe that, maybe SOME atheists do, but not every single one. Second, I am not that informed on the theorys for the begining of the universe yet, so I cannot claim that whatever you are saying is true. I really dislike this video. If I ever did something like this and looked back at it when I got older I'd be embarrassed. This is your journey, though, not mine. But seriously, this is so conceited. I mean, forget about religion, athiests have their own delusions they need to deal with.
I'd join the call of "athiests unite" if any of you had the "maturity" to understand human nature, but you really don't. I mean it, you don't, as desperately as you want Christians to see, open yer own eyes 2.

@AngeloNiklis Can you please enlighten me on what delusions atheists have? There's no "atheist unite" call, and if there was what does that have to do with how they view human nature? All atheists view human nature differently and how they see fit. All atheist means is no belief in a god or gods, THATS IT. If someone doesn't believe in god, they're an atheist, it doesn't matter if they dont call themselves that, or they dont like the term, its what they are, period.

Honestly I'm being specific to Dawkins when I talk about delusions, specifically the idea that without religion the world would have been a significantly better place. I don' believe that, as (I believe) the fault has to lay on humanity. Humans created religion, and all that goes into it. Humanity has to take accept the evils it's done, it can't be blamed on a human constructed and adhered to system.

@1tabligh First of all, atheist means no belief in a theist god, NOTHING ELSE. "The atheists" don't believe that, maybe SOME atheists do, but not every single one. Second, I am not that informed on the theorys for the begining of the universe yet, so I cannot claim that whatever you are saying is true. Third, if what you are saying is what scientists really think is true, then it is NOT a delusion, a delusion is believing in something when there is no proof for it, thats not how science works.

Not believing doesn't make you part of a group or movement even if some non-religious people do take an active stance, as you say, it is enough to be here on earth, a privilage even so live for today and make the most of your life.

It's too hard for people to admitt there is no supernatural power beyond the reality; to admitt that the awareness or the soul -poeple believes they have- is only neural activities. I know it is hard to imagine or understand nothingness, to lost your ego completely when you die. But what makes normal to believe this primitive stories called religion? If people want to know what will happen to them after they die, and if they cant imagine how horrible it is just being gone (no more) think about it this way. WHen you go to sleep, do you remember it the next day. NO, you remember going to sleep, but not the sleeping part when you slept. Now when your brain die, you cant dream anymore, so its actually like going to bed, never waking up and never dreaming/thinking anything more. I like the call it "GAME OVER"

@libetta He is right. Many Mental Disorders, such as Schizophrenia and Psychosis, can trigger Hallucinations. Drugs like Ecstasy and LSD can cause someone to lose their sense of Reality. Believing in God doesn't become a Hallucination until you start seeing God and hearing his voice. In that case, you might want to go see a Therapist.

@ballinfromdad313 Experiencing things or taping them with a cam corder is not how we discover truth. I would suggest googling the scientific method. We use tests and evaluation.
and again, if you want to know how things got to this point, pick up a biology book or history book, or physics book. We really do know a lot already, and it's very fascinating.

@ballinfromdad313 I'm not sure why your affiliating cosmology with anatomy. The reason you're having trouble connecting the big bang with human organs is because they're completely different fields of study.
Biology can answer your questions about blood and organs. What you're doing is asking "how do you cook lasagna?", picking up a book on car mechanics and saying "see? There's no answer in here. Must be jesus".

@ballinfromdad313 The big bang was not "the first thing that took place in the evolution process". Evolution is a biological phenomenon, the big bang is an early cosmological phenomenon. That's like saying "the first thing that took place in the process of this ice cube melting was napoleon".
