Well, compared to the description of 'throbbing, heart-pounding music' then no, it isn't. This is more like a theme for the game when you're picking difficulty or options. But this theme plays all the time. And it isn't exactly 'heart-pounding' by any means. The theme is still pretty good, at least to me though.

As bad as this game is, if I was in any of the areas of the game in real life, heard this music, knowing there were monsters that most likely will make my days numbered, I'd be scared shitless.

@BigWhoopEntertainer Man how can you say that I got it when it first came out and played it for Two years and when I finally finished it the ending made me want to slit my wrists, all I could do was cry at the waisted time, so I got my fathers shotgun, and while the game was still in shot my whole system multiple times.

The piano shouldn't have come! It ruins the dark atmosphere! During the piano part, it rather sounds like outdoors in a desert with soft wind!

But I like the flutes! I really agree that it resembles a throbbing heart!

But considering that it was supposed to be urgatory, the music gets a too soft touch with the piano sequences! Big fail!

Instead there should have been some flute or violin!
