Saw this on Down M.Yowp's Facebook site..Jack Shaindlin finally got a music credit. He was one of MANY stock music composers whose excellent music graced early TV shows.
Pre-antibiotic TB - but then we still only have a handful antibiotics which TB has developed resistance to. Hey maybe we'll have TB sanitariums again.
You can tell Shaindlin scored this just by listening to the first piece. Although his stuff was available through the Langlois library at the time, it sounds like he scored this specifically for the film.
You have to be careful with antibiotics, but wouldn't that be the primary treatment? I guess it's smart to wait and see if the body will fight it on its own.

This was an unusual and rather informative cartoon. A real blast from the past - nostalgia is the best.
