Another one of my first Genesis games. I had some fun with this. It was a well balanced game. Being a fan of games like Ikari Warriors, Commando, Mercs, etc.. I knew I'd enjoy this. :)

I only wished this had a 2 player mode so my brother and I could both play at the same time.

Same here mate- this and Mercs are both absolutely brilliant. If they were both 2 player co-op then that really would be the icing on the cake! My younger brother stays over often and these would be perfect to play in co-op. :)

There was also an Arcade version of Rambo III which was also a Run and Shoot game but a different game to the Megadrive version. The arcade version was very similar to the arcade game of GI Joe.

An absolute classic game, is this. My favourite run and gun game, and one of my favourite Megadrive games ever. Great music and Excellent bonus rounds.

An absolute joy to play through to the end.

The reason he looks like Clarence Bodicka is... because he is him. They used the same actor in both films. I think his name was Kurtwood Smith.

Very underrated game, its up there with Mercs in my opinion (though Mercs is still the best run and game game on the MD). :-)

for sure! i want to pick it up and give it another whirl, but i remember struggling like crazy with it on later levels. not sure i want to go through that again! ;)
