If you can, freeze it when the clubhead is past the ball but not quite blocked by the body yet. Look at how completely released and "turned over" the face is. It shows just how fully these guys release the hell out of the toe of the club--no effort to "hold the hands in front" or "hold the face square through to the finish" (check other players like Els, Woods, etc., too). This is particularly interesting with Couples, since he hits a fade--but he doesn't hit it by hanging on, obviously.
Thats a fucked up swing right there. No wonder he fucked up his back. He needs to fix that shit pronto or he´s gonna be spending the next 20 years of his life in a wheelchair. Damn, scary shit right there, just look at the grotesc way his L6 and L5 are twisting. God have mercy on his soul!
@stridskuk87 How can you tell he has an L6? There's only 5 bones in our lower back. Unless you have his xray then I'll have no problem with that comment
@stridskuk87 well, he happens to be one of the better ball strikers of all time, he's in 50s and there's nothing wrong with his back and that's the swing he's used his whole career so im pretty sure you have no idea what you're talking about.
@silowhore He does have a bad back. He always has. That's why hes such a bad putter, it hurts his back to practice putting. He is a spectacular ball striker. But he does also have a bad back.
Actually he's moved (finally) to a long better that allows him to stand upright while putting and his putting has improved dramatically since then, hence the 4 Champion's Tour victories so far.

@silowhore my point was more to strid that his swing is textbook two plane aside from letting he right elbow fly a bit it's poetry
