  • can you use regular lotion?

  • selling untiffany's, message me if you want to buy.

  • What about the silver swoosh? mines getting dull and i have a few scratches. how can i fix it?

  • this worked great on my angels and demons! thanks

  • @TooFr3sh4u but fakes croc print is not deeply engrained therefore it will never shine that much anyways

  • damn i envy your shoe collection lol

  • does this work on nike sb space jams

  • Hey, i have a pair and am just wondering if it will decrease the value of the sneaker even though it lost a lot of its shine?

    THANKS!!!

  • @OolabaSwa the name "Diamond" comes Diamond Supply Co. who collaborated with Nike SB on this shoe, giving it the name "Diamond Dunks". There's also a diamond on the tongue, which is Diamond Supply Co's logo.

  • @xwolfdawgx I know all of the history of the shoe. It's just I have always heard them referred to as Tiffany's not Diamond Dunks.

  • Never heard anyone call em Diamond Dunks lol

  • lol "diamond dunks"

  • @nojodasboy22

Yet another comment found by the cloth

  • you're no hypebeast! DUDE! you're awesome!

  • @youngtriippz haha lol, thanks man!

  • @werunmlps ohh fasho. same story as me. aha dope vids tho

@restoremysneakers dope cleaning restorin vids. thumbs up n sub

  • @werunmlps dont you have tiffs i coulda sworn i saw em in your intro?

  • when you showed the before and after clip, did you use two different cameras or sumtin ? cuz the after one looks like a good quality cam, what kind of cam do you use

  • @fritos10 We use a Canon Rebel T2i. The reason there is a difference in the film quality is that I had a different exposure set on those different clips. - the camera guy

  • @restoremysneakers fasho, well great vid

  • it seems like you buy used sneakers to restore them (well of course) but do you keep any of them? like those 94' 1's you sold them. but then you have like 2 pairs. just curious. nice videos VERY HELPFUL too.

  • @lildragoon6 In the past I used to, but not so much anymore. However, I usually try to buy the shoes in my size, with exception to that 94 AJ 1.

  • I have just tried this method

But with a toothbrush instead of a shoe shiner brush due to the lack thereof.

To my dismay, I don't see much of any improvement in the shine at all

Is there something I perhaps did wrong, or is the dullness of my Tiffs to the point of no return?

    Thank you very much.

  • @SeoulSeek It has to be a shoe shine brush. The bristles on a toothbrush are too rough.

  • @restoremysneakers Ahh, I see.

Where would a shoe shine brush be purchased, and if I already tried brushing with a toothbrush, is it too late? Are there any detrimental affects that will occur?

  • would this work for other leather sneakers

  • @funnygangink It should. Usually best on black or brown leathers.

  • Hey, i have kiwi, leather instant wax shine, would this work in the place of the leather lotion? and also, can the creasing on tiffs be getten rid of?

  • @chubbyandy712 Most creases can be taken cared of by using the ironing method.

  • Hey, may I ask what kind of camera you guys uses to record your videos, I'm currently searching for a new camera to use for my sneaker reviews, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you and keep up the great work!

  • ..off topic but if you wrap sneaker do they crumble.??

  • @TRILLYandTRULY Depends on the shoe. Shoes with polyurethane midsoles shouldn't be covered, especially with silica.

  • great method and turnout! would this work on patent as well?

  • Would this method work to get the shine back into the patent leather of XI's?

  • @MootPoon817 I actually use something else, but we'll probably make a video about it whether it works or not.

  • @restoremysneakers please do cause i wanna know if i cud make my 11s shine

  • nice i subbbed sub back!

  • @werunmlps How dare you!?

  • yes the lotion do work. works pretty good i say & it also says it keeps the leather from drying & cracking.

  • @sol305

dude when they first came out they where called the diamond dunks but over time the name changed.

  • Thanks for the information. Lovin' the new music in the video.

  • @fr3shs0le09 It helps prevent the leather from drying and cracking in the long run.

  • Question... would you think its ok to use that leather lotion on regular leather on Jordans or would you think its only appropriate for tough leather like that croc skin leather type?...

  • @xxliljpxx It works on most if not all leathers. It will however leave a shine to the leather after applying it.

  • @restoremysneakers where did you buy the leather treatment??

  • @xxliljpxx I bought it at walmart. You should be able to find it at most stores, since Kiwi shoe products are all over the place.

  • @xxliljpxx you can use neutral polish from kiwi,it has no color it will just restore an protect the finish. If you want it to shine then you would buff it with a clean terry cloth or a brush like the video.

  • @saceboi ok cuz I have some red steel x's and the paint on it is sooo dead... I wana try this to just make that leather paint not so dull...

  • the hell with SB's

  • yo there called tiffanys.

  • @sol305 Yeah I know, that's the nickname. However they're also called the Diamond Dunks.

  • would you have to repeat these steps more then once.?

  • @kiddwitkickz Every once and a while.

  • nice video. BUT, these steps can make fakes look more real lol
