  • In the first minute of the game, a 3/3 Wild Nacatl attacked with Exalted, but got killed with Lightning Bolt. The commentator said that Exalted was on the stack, but Exalted gives a creature that attacks alone +1/+1. Why is this on the stack? Doesn't the Exalted effect happen WHEN the creature attacks? That's what it says.

  • @Lightmane321 its still an activated effect, so when exalted activates, kibler responded with lightening bolt, killing the nacatl before exalted resolved, so it never got the +1 toughness.

  • @tomsharpster1990 Oh. I didn't know that's how it worked. Thanks. I thought once it attacked that the effect automatically kicked in. Thanks again.

  • LOL the white guy's deck must have cost 1000ish dollars

    gratz on your bought win

  • @piratesthatpwn if he win he get 40k so 1k is nothing

  • @piratesthatpwn I know right? everything was pretty expensive in that deck, money wise. But I think he is on starcritygame's team so

  • games commented by evan are far better than the useless chatter of the 2 other guys.

evan speaks understandable and the cards played are shown. that's how a commented match should look like.

  • Whoa. Awesome hat.

  • A damn fine hat indeed.

  • Holy crap.... i need to get WAY better at magic.... i have 3 zendikar decks and yet im still noobish....

  • @masterflash554 zendikar is the one that's noobish

  • Beautifully played.

  • Why don't they post coverage like this for every tournament final?

  • Evan is pronouncing Ikeda's name badly wrong.

"I" rhymes with see (or even bit, if you want to Americanize it), "ke" rhymes with may, and "da" is correct.

This is like asking someone if they speak EYE-talian. Seeing as the player in question is in the running for POY, and the Japanese have long been a power in competitive Magic, commentators should really learn how to pronounce their names correctly.

  • He had an accent before he tried to pronounce Japanese names.

  • argh! I hate path to exile

  • Great stuff, Evan is a great narrator!

  • That was amazing

  • Great game--nice 1-of Elspeth, Brian.

  • THIS is how you play Magic, folks.

  • awesome!
