@digoxin i read that the new album sounds more like pinback. i dunno how to feel about that i love pinback they are my happy music but i want the old thee mile pilot back they are intense, raw, complex, moody, pain, thats what i love about them. but you know its been 13 years since their last album so i cant complain.:)
@0ddball9 well you cannot tell yourself how to feel, and no rationalization would change it anyway. God, I wish I could feel better about their new album. Truth is, I don't, and I agree 100% with you on the description of the vintage, classic 3MP as "intense, complex, raw and moody" - and that's precisely why I've been in love with this band for the last 13 years. Sadly, all good things come to an end... I'm still in a bit of denial hoping they'd snap out of this coma, but the hope is fading...
