On the Belgian note, yes, it gets even better if you ever go to Brussels. Go to the main square, the famous one with gold lining it as far as the eye can see then go down one of the corner streets heading towards the Isis Hotel. Halfway down, look left...a store completely devoted to Tintin and Herge. I saw it and literally became weak at the knees, dashing inside and dragging my fiance with me. He found it so amusing how I was gaping at everything, so I bought souvineers. Very Belgian ;)

Nickelodeon's had the best animation I've seen to date. I was just asking a friend the other day, "I wonder when they're going to one-up movies like 'How to Tran Your Dragon' and 'Rango'." Well here ya go. :)
Seriously, though. Holy crap. Only Spielberg's and Jackson's powers combined can we get something this amazing-looking. Can't wait.

go to tintin.com to learn about the history of Herge and the great Adventures of Tintin. Not French, but Belgian. Often mistaken due to French and Flemish spoken in Belgium. Georges Remi was born in Brussels, and wrote for a Belgian Newspaper. Finally Tintin gets serious attention with this movie. It's about time. Proud to be Belgian.
