When I saw the part when that girl had to put food back into the pot, I nearly cried and my grandma said that they Khmer Rough women was much meaner then that and that the people who was sick was just lazy people. Let's not forget it was those illiterate Cambodian from the rice paddie who cannot even spell their names that destroyed the Cambodian civilization. The credit should be given to the Vietnamese for having liberated Cambodia from the complete destruction committed by the Khmer Rouge as orchestrated by the Red Chinese, their boss.

It appears to me you have overlooked the fact that the Khmer Rouge took direct order (i.e. Killing educated Cambodian, shipping Cambodian resources to China...) from the Red Chinese. Did you know the Khmer Rouge who operated slaughter houses such S-21 got their training in Beijing (not Hanoi)? Did you know China continued to support the Khmer Rouge for nearly 15 years after 1979?

I was only 8 years old when the Khmer Rouge took over. Looking back, I could not believe what I believed. People were forced to work in the rice paddies 10-12 hours/day and 7 days/week.
