How does 2 inches extra in the barrel give you 25-50 yards more range? BS on that. I have a m4 pistol (custom built) that shoots at 350 fps. It shot at a higher fps (20 more with the 363 Barrel) with the longer barrel but hardly any more range (10ish) It shoots 175 feet with the 350 fps w/.20 BBs, stock brass barrel (cut by me to 100mm) and a systema bucking that I Teflon taped.

@michielol888 If your buying a gun for the first time just go with a JG M4 or a JG G36C. They are decent guns and pretty cheap(Under $150) and with the rest of your money get a 9.6v battery, a smart charger, and another mag and your set. Ive owned both of those and can tell you they can compete with pretty high end guns. Compared to my KWA M4($300) it really isn't that bad.

If you guys invest this much effort time and money into airsoft you really should consider looking into real firearms. I think it would help alot with your realism and they're just a blast. Its more fun to fire a real AK-47 than buy an airsoft one. And most prices are outrageous, I saw an airsoft M249 SAW for $3000 and you can buy several real semi AK-47's for that.

@flowingwolfpack You can't shoot your friends with a real gun. The whole point is to shoot your friends without actually sending them to the hospital with a gunshot wound. It is just a hobby like going out to the range to shoot a rifle or a handgun.
