  • Many fishes are sterilized so Fronds are one of them. Hard to breed frontosas. You need huge aquarium let's say more tha 1000 lt.

  • @ctenochaetus i know many blokes breeding fronnies and gibs in 450lt tank

  • Very nice Fronts!!!

  • beautiful

  • frontosa are cool but boring as shit

  • Beautiful colors!

  • i just want to THANK YOU for not placing music with this video and congrats on keeping fronts...

  • what kinda other fish can you put with frontosas becuase i have a 75gal looking to set it up with a couple fronts just wondering if they go well with other fish. thanks.

  • Fronts are getting big and need water with ph range 8.0 - 9.0 so if you want to put some other cichilds with fronts you have to look for large fishes also to like ph 8.0-9.0 and to be from Tanganyika Lake or at least to be an African Cichild.

  • cool thanks man.

  • hey man great fronts i want to keep either fronts or a red devil in my 120 cm tank it is 250 ltrs which is 65 galls do you think i could keep two in there?

  • Fronts should usually be 3 or more. I have one. I had two. One killed the other. Not as peaceful as you think! LOL Seriously...

  • Fair enough, im setting up a 600 L tangayika tank, with some Calvus cichlids and possible a few fronnies....

  • @datkidnl the altolamprologus calvus is xcellent 4 example.

  • @datkidnl you can only put 1 front in a 75 gal.

  • If you already added fishes without doing the fishless cycle make sure don't feed them too much, I 'll say once in every two days.

  • how did you cycle this tank at the beginning? ive made the mistake of buying all the plants to go in it before doing a fishless cycle. are frontosas able to withstand a new tank or will they die unless its already established?

  • I put the substrate + water + bacteria. Then I run it without fishes for about 3 weaks with closed lights and then I put my frontosas to the tank.

  • Fishes? hehe I have a saltwater tank but it's kinda new and I was wondering what are the best corals and plants to put in ther for a bigginer.

  • Ok you can buy a Bubble coral which are very beautiful, also a moon coral, hammer coral(Euphillia ancora),mushrooms, xenia and sarcophyton. All these are beautiful and good for a beginner.

  • lol woops I got an anenemone or however you say that confusing word.

  • Be carefull with anemones they need strong light very good water condition and they die really fast. Most of them don't last more than a year. Plus when they die they stock on filters and raises amonia, nitrite and nitrates.

  • Woops I guess I made a bad choice then huh? Mine haven't died yet but I only had it for a few weeks. thx for letting me now though.

  • They don't move much do they.

  • Not that much. These fishes are nice to watch them.
