It would be great from a prone position but shown here is a simple way to do these exercises with just a stretch cord/ resisance band. A device like a swim halo or a vasa trainer are the best but are also much, much more expensive.
Excellent! My only question is whether these exercises would be best done while the body is in a prone position on a plank rather than from the standing position illustrated here.

the new trend is now to use a straight arm recovery...you get a quicker recovery that way, with a more powerful catch.
