It is interesting how it has now become socially unacceptable to blow bubbles in public yet television adverts like this more or less promoted the "craze".
If I saw that ad during Revenge of the Sith I would tell Palpatine/Darth Sidious to pop the bubbles. During House of 1,000 Corpses and the Devil's Rejects I would tell Baby Firefly played by Rob Zombie's wife to pop them. During the old Star Wars films I would tell Darth Vader to pop them. During Elektra I would tell Elektra to pop them and Daredevil tell Bullseye to pop them. This is for popping the bubbles that we don't see popped.
I never saw this ad on television. Back in 1997 I saw another commercial for extra bubble gum. If I saw this during Walker Texas Ranger I would tell Walker played by Chuck Norris to pop the bubbles with martial arts kicks. If it was during WCW I would tell Bam Bam Bigelow to pop with his moves. During ECW I would tell Tommy Dreamer or New Jack to pop it. During WWE I would tell Kane to pop it by choke slamming.
