  • Related and lovely -- look for "Islam without Extremes: A Muslim Case for Liberty."

  • My dentist here on Kauai is R. Patel. I'm an atheist, and democratic socialist. I'm going to have to ask him if he knows this guy. I like Patel's sentiments, but I think religion itself, is the problem. That, and the extreme inequality of wealth that is now the result of global, multinational, corporate capitalism. Especially, since the "Reagan Revolution." And these American, Jesus freaks keep voting Republican. I respect one person In politics: Bernie Sanders. Aloha from Kauai.

  • Not to mention that the first person Eboo Patel acknowledges in his book, "Acts of Faith" at the end is none other than Bill Ayers... If you even have to ask who that is and or why it is disgusting that he did this, then either educate yourself on him very quickly if the former, or may God have mercy on your soul if the latter.

  • Religious pluralism is false doctrine. There is a medium between pluralism and totalitarianism; it is called toleration. Being a pluralist makes one deny their own faith because it not only calls for toleration of other religions, but promotion of them as well. It is sad to see "new age Christians" move towards this attractive but very wrong way of dealing with other religions and cultures. They may think it is a movement towards peace, but they don't realize they are denying God in the process.

  • So glad you enjoyed Eboo's presentation -- we love hearing from interfaith organizers.

  • great presentation

    wish i found it sooner
