  • Your posts are very solid. Well done.

And the video flying by with the snapping part was quite funny.

  • This would be cool if it weren't so white.

  • you sound almost like brian wilson, this is awesome! I just got the Neumann TLM103 yesterday and it is amazing

  • goosebumps at 1:43! :)

  • marry me? HAUEHAUEHAUE

  • it is very boring, to untalented people, make videos like this shit.

  • awesome job man!!!

  • You are born to do this Multitracking. I just viewed this for a second time, even though the song itself is nothing fancy (to my mind), your delivery of it is excellent.

  • Hey man awesome job....i love this version that the OC times do.....Do you know if they have the sheet music available for this version??

  • cool man.

  • This is amazing. Keep up the fantastic work!

  • Incredible! Thanks for jazzing my day up!!!:-)))

  • 1:44 = Brown note

  • It's really rare to see young guys singing these kinds of songs... great job! :) Love your videos.

  • "I uploaded to HD for a reason..." .... :|

  • 0:25-0:30 haha?!

  • I love this!!

  • Did you EQ the highs way down?

  • This is so amazing!!! You and Daniscool99 seriously inspire me to try this stuff out! Keep up the great work! :P

  • I love you!

  • i like the way your voice sounds.! (not the singing but your talking voice)

  • The more I watch, the more I see what a ham this guy is... but I mean that in a good way. That aspect makes the videos all the more entertaining. Great work!

  • Nice. And ooh, you're fit. ;)

  • do you really need to sing to get girls buddy?! cause you already are damn cute...

  • Man! the range of your voice is amazing. Im a tenor but i cant sing barr. or bass notes. but yea good song selection, the harmonys were great. and it seemed like at the end you went into chest voice and nailed those ending notes!! good stuff

  • loved clapping guy!

  • good video because you do comment on mine too thanks

  • Any guy who sings a four part harmony, to one of my favorite crooner songs, is okay in my book! ;)

  • Awesome!

  • Wow! I have no constructive criticism. You got it, kid. A+. And very entertaining. Okay... one really, really minor thing... watch the "chews". As in "watch chew". Should be "watch you". It's a common mistake almost ALL singers make. But dude... you're amazing. A pure lyric tone. You're very, very talented. And with your looks you could go very far. Take it from me... move to LA immediately and pursue that career.

  • This is AMAZING!!!! I LOVE YOU :)

  • wow. you rock.

your voice is amazing and this video was really well done.

    so good job ;)

  • this is gold.

  • yup, you are my new favorite person in the world!

  • that = one of the most awesome things i've ever seen/heard

  • Hey man great video! A few things tho to work on: try opening your mouth a little more to allow better and improved airflow as well as dropping your head a little more too....trust me it does wonders!!!! As for amateur stuff this was pretty good! tenor lines could of been a little stronger as well as lead (nothing a little tweaking on the audio levels wouldn't help) it sounded like you had the bass in a different key tho....idk if it's me but it didn't sound low enough almost like 3 steps up

  • @justinpluscassidy Thanks man! Yeah I've improved a lot since doing this video, but those are some great things to keep in consideration. This is in the original key, however I don't have a bass tone, so it probably sounds a little higher. Thanks alot!

  • @AndrewKesler hmm you are very gracious in the face of all this advice.

sounds fine to me as it is, and i worked as a professional musician for years :)

  • @justinpluscassidy

You realize dropping your head makes you flat, right?

  • YAY FRANK SINATRA

  • I love this song so much :)

  • Fantastic first tenor here.

    Love this one.

    trevororrell

  • FUKIN FRANK SINATRA!!!!!!!!!!!

this is quit impressive.. very nice viddeo

  • Nice. Da bass and bari are nicely done round 0:42

  • GREAT

    You have it.

    trevororrell

  • dude... get better earphones... the apple ones are raw shit. nice job btw.

  • @tsammy06 Agreed. Check out my latest video to see what headphones I have now...

  • You, sir, are very entertaining, have an amazing voice, and all around just awesome. Do you do all of the arranging yourself? I'm a 2nd year music major, so this to me is fascinating. Did I mention that you are awesome. :P

  • @Kandigrl312 Thanks! This wasn't arranged by me. I did tweak it a bit, but the majority of the barbershop stuff I sing and record I've transcribed. I've arranged a few things, but nothing posted online as of yet.

  • @AndrewKesler You're welcome! Please put some of your own arrangements up, I would really love to hear them!

  • are you singing those high notes with you real voice? or just head voice? great job by the way!!

  • @Albi1423 The tenor line is a mix between head and chest voice. The higher notes are definitely my falsetto.

  • @AndrewKesler Ywah the OC Times guy is pretty crazy, does it like a boss

  • I think Im in love with you! just kidding haha but I loved this! wonderful job!

  • @08choirangel Haha, thanks for your kind words:)

  • I think I'm in love with you! just kidding lol but I love things like this! wonderful job!

  • Subscribed! You, Sir, are awesome!

  • i wonder, and this is just a suggestion, but i wonder what it would be like if each singer had their own personality as well as dress change. because sure the clothes are different, and, naturally, the expressions are identical, yet if there are to be four different singers, then surely there should be four different people...excellent nevertheless.

  • this is nice, there is a freshness and a nice enjoyment from the performers. i still wonder about correction, but it has been made clear that there is no such thing, in that case this is a nice sound for sure.

  • Man oh man, how cool is that!?! You are your own Barbershop Quartet! Terrific range. Just too cool

  • cool man

  • You are so good I really like it... I didnt like the "1:00" part but it was very great... And you made me laugh with the final part.

  • Comment removed

  • You are adorable! Love the finger snapper! LOL

  • This is intense. :) I love it! And I love vocal jazz. Do you do all your own arrangements? If not, please post something Kerry Marsh-arranged. :) :)

  • no mames ke chida voz tienes si kieres te la mamo wey

neta ke si fuera vieja si dejaba ke me cojieras wey jajaja

    saludos perrote

  • Man! That's so great! Sounds really good and I love the humour you added to the vid :D I'm impressed that you manage to sing all four harmonies! I love barbershop singing and I'm trying to get a group together, and I've also thought of trying multitracking. Any chance of you making the sheet music to this available? Hate to be the yappy comment about sheets, but It would really make me happy.

  • hey that's really not my kind of music - at all - but that's some great singing, and i respect your ability to do intricate harmonies .... i can do 2 voices, 3 is getting really hard, i don't believe i'll ever be able to do 4 voices !

  • Youre awsome, but aint this song meant to be in a lower key? like not so high... it sounds better :) but awsome

  • dude ur great. very nice voice, and VERY cool videos in general =J

  • Haha this is superb

  • XD I'm use to OC Times version... It's weird not having such a low bass. ^.^ But you do great!

  • jo so funny ... big smile^n^my^face :::)

  • i say Tenor Lead

     Baritone Bass

am i right? not bad, my only complaint is pronunciation, well done though

  • @nickerlessness You are correct!

  • Have you composed anything? You are very talented: I´ve seen you several times. I hope soon you have a record or a TV show. Congratulations

  • @rodopepe65 Thanks for watching! I have composed some things and arranged them. Not many of them are on youtube, but I'm working on some now tho so stay tuned! My piano degree keeps me busy haha, so I haven't had too much time to really dig into working on my own stuff. Thanks again

  • hahahahaha the ending.

  • Great stuff. I used to belong to a Barbershop Quartet. Brings back memories.

  • subscribed and liked!!! ur really talented and i like your funny take on your work lol :L

  • Man...I just discovered all this multi tracking barbershop stuff. So amazingly cool! You are just GREAT! How old are you?

  • @mshtexas Thanks! Multitracking is quite awesome, and I'm glad I started doing it! I'm 21 now, and I did this last year when I was 20 I think.

  • awesome

  • hahaha, not bad man

  • dude this guys freaking HAWT!!

  • awesome!!!!! sheet music?

  • Too much Hollister! lmao

  • @Basementbarber haha yeah, you're probably right. Oh well

  • this is awesome. ..i guess you can get a pretty good blend when you're the only person singing. where did you get this arrangement?

  • why is there no comment on how handsome you are? lol

  • @springjoy88 lol probably cause I'm just a geek

  • Comment removed

  • extremely impressive :)

    well done!

  • Just amazing!

I like that dude at the end ^^

  • Andrew, very very nice piece of music! DId you make this version by yourself?? Amazing! You should publish it, mate!! Great job!!

  • This is excellent, Andrew-- nice job!

  • I like your teeth...

I mean, I like what you do, you have a great talent and plenty of generosity so thank you very much for posting your vids and for making me laugh a lot ;)

  • MY mother loves you now.

  • She should. your mom and I go WAAYYY back

  • @AndrewKesler lol and a sense of humor to boot

  • This is positively lovely! You are very talented, and a cutie to boot :)

  • What canon digital camera do you use? Its great quality! Any model number? :) Cheers

  • Wow, that was awesome, congrats!

PS: What preamp and converter did you use?

  • Presonus Firepod

  • Thanks, keep on going, you are awesome!

  • ummm you are my new favorite person! :)

  • WOW. Awesome.

  • you are great dude! do you have an album?

  • Wow, that is a terrific video - loads of fun to watch. I can imagine the work that went into it as I make videos myself and I know how hard it is to get something this polished!

I noticed you used Final Cut, I am in need of some help actually. I'm making a video and need to raise the pitch on my audio without changing the speed. Is there a way to do that?

I"ve got Final Cut Studio Pro 2. Thanks for any help you can give.

  • Hmmm, I've never changed pitch in Final Cut. I'm sure there are audio plug-ins that might do that. Check it out. I'd probably import the audio to a DAW, like Logic, Protools, Cubase, Garageband and use a pitch shifter plug-in which you're more likely to find. Then just export it and add it to the movie.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks very much Andrew. I just noticed you used pro logic. Juding by your results, I ought to get that.

  • good job... i think if you opened up more on the vowels, the sound wouldnt be as swallowed... great none the less :)

  • WOW GREAT VOICE! and also i was wondering were i could purchase this arrangement or did u transcribe it?

  • you are adorable! I'm a choir teacher and mom of 5, I would be beyond thrilled if one of my 4 boys did this for my birthday... in a few years, oldest is 9 :) Precious! Good luck to you.

  • WOAH! looks and SOUNDS ALOT better in HD! GREAT!

  • This made me smile! :D

  • Bloody brilliant matey. Did you use a pitch shifdter to get the bass vocal? Your mum will have this to keep for life. Well done.

  • Thanks man! No pitch shifter. If I can't sing it legit, I won't sing it at all usually. The bass in this song only goes down to a low Ab which is the in comfortable limit of my range.

  • ROFL THE END :D

  • Great job! I sing in Choir too... but many times when I am alone I could only sing my own parts! lolx!! I'm impressed with your gift! Praise the Lord for your talent!

  • if you were in an actual barbershop, it seems like your voice lends itself to baritone

the tenor part is a little ... unrefined, but i guess that happens to at least 1 part when you sing all 4. all in all, still very impressive.

  • Well I think you nailed it. I AM in actual barbershop and I AM a baritone! Very nice educated guess!

And yes, my tenor is awful lol

  • Great job! Your a cutie too!

  • I had to create a YouTube account just to tell you that I think this was a fabulous gift! Your Mom has got to be so proud that you spent the time to make that for her. Way to go!

  • Wow! You're the best! Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that you did that and I'm quite taken aback haha. I'm just thankful that both my parents fully support my decision to venture for a career in music, so I do what I can in hopes that they'll be proud.

  • wow, you and danny are both so awesome!

  • thats some funny shit bro its still good but funny

  • second to last chord just blew my face off...someones gonna have to pick that up for me

  • Is it in one piece? Or shall I get the Hoover?

  • The hoover is definitely a necessity in this situation

  • you got a hell of a range man!

  • you must get laid constantly lmao

  • haha sick

  • Andrew,friend: since I found your videos,my days are better.Thanks for this! :)

  • Thank you. It's a pleasure to know that my videos can help make someone's day!

  • Wow, you are so talented.. I mean make your own choir, I've been trying to do that but I don't know how to build them up and sound great... Have been you taken singing lessons and doing alot of music theory?

  • It takes practice. I've been multitracking voices and instruments together for many years now. I self-taught myself how to record and produce so I have that aspect of music pretty well under control. I've never taken singing lessons, but I've been singing in choirs and vocal jazz groups since mid-high school. My quartet also sings regularly and contains 2 voice majors. As a piano major, I've covered my share of theory over the years, focusing more on contemporary theory these days.

  • I guess: practice, practice, practice? I'm actually pretty new with the singing, I only discovered how fun it was 3 years ago..

  • Did you arrange it yourself? More specifically, did you write all the parts, and if so, do you have any music theory background?

  • Well normally when I sing a tune, I transcribe it. Someone gave me sheet music for this tune, but it wasn't too accurate to the version that I wanted to sing, so I guess I re-transcribed it. I'm actually a jazz piano major at university, with my Grade 10 royal conservatory in classical piano as well as the corresponding theory (it's a Canadian thing). So I have quite a lot of theory training, both classical and contemporary.

  • I figured something of the like. I'm a music and spanish double major with my instrument of concentration the piano. We're getting pretty deep into theory so for fun I arranged a Michael Buble piece in four parts for our College Talent show, we ended up getting first place too. I was looking at similar pieces to compare and I came upon this one. I like your style. Keep it up, it sounds good.

  • One word - Brilliant

    and the ending? - Fantastic!!!

    Loved it!!

  • your an amazing singer! oh! and your cute(:

  • Sounds good. I would work on connecting all your words. I think it'll really pop then!

  • Ur not a baritone lol. That last tenor note wasn't a baritone's. ;p

  • Well if you belt a note, you can sing much higher than you think. I'm a higher baritone, or a low tenor. I can sing high in my chest voice, but i have to either scream it (ergo this video) or be REALLY warmed up. I sing baritone in my quartet. I don't have a voice cut out for lead, or tenor or bass, so i'm stuck on baritone lol. It's my "natural" range. If you try hard enough you can really sing anything.

  • I'm a baritone aswell, my musics teacher likes to think I'm a tenor (as if lol) but I couldn't get nowhere near your note, then again, I never learned how to belt. I really liked your "screamed" note though. I'm jealous of your voice. :P

  • i agree. we seem to be about the same range, although you are on a different level completely from our group.

  • wow amazing hey i just wanted to know on multitracks when your by yourself how do you decide to do which one first? or do you do one as the proto then do one peice then use that then do another use the previous two but never including your proto or do you just wing it?

  • dude... i watched this like 10 times... i never get tired of it.

and your teeth are SUPER white. :o
