I'm sorry, but this video was not shot in 1952 even if the event did happen.

Color film was in existence, but was not in common use especially for TV broadcast since any existing sets were in B&W. Use of color film was only really used for *movies* in 1952 and wasn't all that common even in that medium as it was very expensive to use color film back then. And THAT is a verifiable fact.

this is a clip from the X-files (note the location and date line that appears) and a recreation visually of events that were documented but not filmed. No one actually SAW anything in the skies over DC. Radar picked up blips that the USAF went to invesitgate. The blips vanished once the planes got there and then returned as soon as the planes left. But had anyone taken video footage like this back then you'd surely know about it.

2.) I have seen the pic with lights you mention. I have read accounts that the picture was caused by a temperature inversion.

3.) I hope you don't disqualify the event itself. Most people fail to realize that there were temperature inversion over D.C. almost all summer long but this event didn't repeat itself other than the 2 times.

Less editing is required, and staged videos with trees are modified from videos they've taken outside.

Most people wouldn't be willing to go all out on a fake ufo video unless they were getting paid. Getting a 3d model to look realistic is difficult, doing it for an entire video, even if it was five seconds, wouldn't be worth it if it wasn't for "I made it"
