He had criticized the Senate for being filled up with unelected party cronies, then recently filled up all the seats. He insisted that the economy was "fine", then buckled under great pressure for economic stimulus. I understand that you might align yourself with his centrist-right political ideology, but to praise him as such a great leader is just silly. The man has no backbone.

MatthewGoodRox, Its not about consumerism, I would stand behind ANY party that is doing right for our country. I don't vote based on the past & how a party used to govern itself, we had 12 years of corruption, lies and scandal under the Liberals, there are people who blindly ignore all this but I won't! No party is perfect but atleast the Conservatives focus on small gov't and working with Canadians. The problem is the media is mostly Liberal and influences the public negatively towards the CP.
