  • gahhh i dont like this. thats SO much slower than my horses walk

  • This is not fourbeating... it is just slow. It is not unnatural for THESE horse to do this. They are bred for it. All of those horses have very loose reins and can pull any kind of stunt...but you don't see them trying to pull anything??? Besides going slow. Sure some horses are trained harshly,,but most aren't. If I made my English pleasure and hunter under saddle horse lope like that, sure, that would be unnatural. Thanks.

  • the photographer is don trout... hes the nicest guy(:

  • I'm a Hunter/Jumper rider and if my horse ever did a canter like that I would say that he was lame or in serious pain. My horse is an appendix, but I am so glad that he takes on more of his Thoroughbred lineage...

  • even if he was full quarter horse.. they have to be trained to do that.. and its sick to watch.. i agree about these horses looking lame

  • I don't think that horse placed well in the class if at all.

  • That's four beating on the first horse, not a true lope.

  • ur wrong its a very nicvely cadenced 3 beat lope,, jus bc its slow doesnt make it a 4 beat alliwalker

  • @lacyjay2 just barely. It's excessively slow, therefore, against the rules.

  • nope its not theres no rule in the aqha handbook that says anything about "excessively slow" the only requirement is that it is on the correct lead and moving in a 3 beat gait

  • @lacyjay2 Yes there is. Look again.
