It is relevant. Richard was a Catholic Crusader-King. His legacy is alive and well. Thanks to the Catholic Church founded by Jesus Christ, the United Kingdom of England became a great participant of Christendom.
Who founded the Anglican sect? Henry VIII Tudor.
Latin is a beautiful language. Mother of Romantic tongues. Latin lives in the Romantic tongues and also in the Vatican and higher schools of learning.
...many ppl cursed those huge buildings...they were not made in love...they are not churches but only buildings...there is a place where ppl never receive the knowledge of God but are lead into darkness...you popes the punishment of God is comming upon you quick.
@ilietisbitul - I beg to differ friend! Canterbury Cathedral was built from an absolute Love of God! Have you ever been there? You can feel the presence of something greater than yourself in many parts of Canterbury. Of course human beings make terrible mistakes. We are not perfect and neither are those who take up the faith. The entire point is to simply be the finest version of yourself that you can be. That can only make the world a better place, no? God Bless!
I dont think He just lives in the Anglican world, He lives in the Christian world because He is CHRIST our lord and saviour. I love you Jesus. PS.Canterbury is amazing.
@asaenz1836 : The HERETIC-Head of the Anglican Sect decided to destroy his tomb--which millions of Christians visited to venerate & receive his blood for healing. Also how about Glastonbury & St. Joseph, and all those countless places in UK, Scotland, Eire...?
English People, you choose: Henry 8th & his sect or Christ's Catholic Church w/ St. Augustine & St. Thomas of Canterbury...well which is it?
@irkibby : Dodger.... asaenz1836: Thank you for the honest question. I tried to give you an honest answer unlike some people who are full of the deadly sin of pride. SS. Augustine & Thomas, pray for us, and pray for the people of England to return to the One True Church of Christ, that is, the Catholic Church. Kyrie-eleison.
We don't need your prayers or your nasty hateful church. Also our choirboys do not need molesting by your filthy , bigotry spewing priests, thank you. England will never be catholic.
England ceased to be a catholic country under the reign of Henry VIII. Since then the monarch has been the head of the Church of England. A lot has happened in the time that England has been freed from catholicism. England became one of the most influential countries in the world and we started the Industrial Revolution. Is this thanks to the catholics? No. And today England is a fairer and more tolerant country to live in, and as a gay man I am grateful to the C of E for this

I'm a proud Church of England man. We celebrate our faith, unlike catholics who mourn theirs.

@irkibby : You dodged my questions! Anglican sect is damned. There is no salvation outside the Catholic Church.
As far as your REVOLUTION, I quote the Psalm: Nisi Dominus ædificaverit domum, in vanum laboraverunt qui ædificant eam.
