  • Zak, i've read a lot of times and during the last 3 years that semen compounds goes to the blood and strengthens the organism when it's not ejaculated, isn't it? And, if i'm right, that's what taoists and many other people in the past (and present, of course) did because they thought it was good for longevity and optimal health.

    But, is this right? I mean, i've read a lot of information about it and i'm pretty sure that semen resorption by the organism when it's not wasted is a good thing....

  • @rkowwe14 Any organs of emissions or eliminations are used to flush-out toxins, so if you start the process of ejaculation and then don't - the toxins have to be absorbed back into the bloodstream. Also, sex puts a lot of stress on the body, so it only makes you grow older faster. Moderation in all things will lead to a much healthier life.

  • @JBC814 I'm not an expert, but by no means i consider ejaculation to be a way to eliminate toxins. Yes, maybe you eliminate toxins when you ejaculate, but if you don't and then the toxins return to the bloodstream, then they'll be excreted through other ways. People who have sex without ejaculation won't die of a toxin overload. Maybe toxins in semen is the result of an unhealthy lifestyle.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity ...one's health. There's no special benefits of ejaculation on it's own that is separate from lovemaking. The benefits come from arousal and intimate contact with someone, not the release of semen itself. A low sex drive = low testosterone. Moderation in all things is right, but what you gauge as moderate and how you know what moderate is is another story.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Shilajit is a "Mineral Pitch" that has been used in India for many years as a rejuvenative and is a Kidney Yin/Yang/Ojas tonic. It exudes from rocks, the "blood of the Rock" they call it. Seems like something you'd like to experiment with. The Bhasmas are various minerals/metals that have been academically incinerated with herb juices and can be very potent Rasayanas(rejuvenators). Most of this is from the indian culture but I think the Chinese/Taoists do some of it too.

  • I ejaculate about twice a year(not on purpose) and as a result I haven't had ANY ILLNESS in about 10 years, not even a slight cough. I also hang out and Kiss girls that are in the middle of intense colds, flu's etc and it doesn't affect me at all. I am also pretty sexually active. So that's just one of the numerous benefits. This is yet another one of my experiments in progress;) Great Video, I could talk all day about this.

  • Ejaculation as SOL suggests is not ineherently unhealthy; after all it is the creator's indespensible mechanism for replenishing the species.

    HOWEVER:

    There are considerations--not merely how frequently one ejaculates but what one engages in in order to ejaculate. The research is pretty clear, for instance, that use of porn causes perceivable alterations in brain structure which are difficult to reverse despite the brain's capacity for neuroplacity. Research it!

The use of modern porn during a masturbation session and ejaculation is very harmful, more so because of the porn; in fact porn seems to allow one to masturbate more often than they might otherwise be able to because it is so stimulating. This could easily lead to sexual exhaustion and severe psychological problems. I don't think ejaculation by itself is really that harmful, though I do notice benefits to not ejaculating for a week or two.

  • @MrAusty I agree about the porn. I am getting away from it more and more. I don't think people realize how serious it is to be wanking almost every day to porn, not just on their physical body health, but in how they view their partner and sex with them that was influened by this fake sex they see on the screen that is way more extreme and 'cleaned-up' than real sex. i wish more people would address the topic of porn from a non-conventionally religious view point.

I gave up porn awhile ago because it creates alot of desire and not much satisfaction for ME personally and I would rather not think about sex or have sex unless I'm with a real Woman, and since I have a girl friend I would rather just enjoy her, but that's just me. I have more physical vitality, but sometimes its hard to distinguish physical vitality from sexual vitality. Sexual vitality is hard to maintain because it comes with high libido and feel like I need a release. Once I release, most of the physical AND sexual vitality I have stored up is lost. I end up becoming tired and weak as a result. Have you noticed this ?

Sexual vitality and Physical vitality are interchangeable although some people are more turned on a good part of the time,it doesn't mean they have more sexual energy.I have noticed like many men that if You cum repeatedly you tend to want to rest rather than go workout for example.I see really not much to gain by ejaculating other than the very brief feeling of orgasm(which is awesome) or having kids.But the drawbacks far outway the benefits.

  • @Myflesh101 Yes I feel way better not ejaculating. Instead of masturbating to ejaculating I stop before I finish or I just do some kind of exercise or meditate. Much better in the long run. Now I am trying to recover from years of excessive masturbation though. 8-9 years of tons of masturbating has left me drained and tired.

  • @Myflesh101 I agree with you about learning to adjust to having this increased energy. For years this energy made me uncomfortable and the only wayI knew how to deal with it was to rid myself of it via ejaculation. Now that I am practicing conservation, I am noticing that life in general is becoming more relaxed, more vibrant, and everything seems to be more colorful literally, and things are more enjoyable than they have been in a while. Western view of masturbation is flawed.

  • @Myflesh101 I do boxing, weight-training, yoga, meditation, and DJ (house/techno). I do use all of these things for fun and to help me channel my sexual energy more efficiently. I do find however, that I sometimes have issues transmuting this energy fully as I have only been trying to conserve for about a year and it is a learning process. Its amazing though, how much energy/focus comes as a result of Jing conservation. Also I notice more confidence in myself.

  • @MrAusty Thats great you gotta lot of creative stuff going on!!!! Yeah the confidence is one of the biggest things I noticed as well, becasue sexual energy(Jing/Ojas) is like the center of your willpower, and obviously the power to create other beings. So when You conserve it helps you create a stronger You. Sometimes cutting down on meat/flesh/spicy foods(a sattvic diet) can help transmute this energy in a different way other than just Sex. Ayurveda is a great guide in this way.

  • @MrAusty Even though meat/flesh foods build sexual energy they also in my experience bring sexual energy down into the lower energy centers and make Sex more compulsive and addictive. Thats when wet dreams become a challenge as well.

  • @Myflesh101 I have noticed this with meat myself, especially red meat and even more so if it is eaten raw. I'm not sure if the meat builds Jing, or just causes your Jing to flow downward to your groin but either way I am still in the process of learning to manage sexual energy so I like to eat meat to purposely make myself aroused. I then experiment with different ways to deal with it and build new, more healthy and positive habits to handle the sexual energy w/ out ejaculating.

But Sometimes I feel that my adrenal glands are fucked up b/c of years of bad food, excessive masturbation, tons of pot-smoking and abuse of other drugs, loads of caffeine for years, staying up all night many times, etc... light exercise boosts my jing it feels, while heavy stuff like boxing can make me fatigued mentally/physically for literally days.   • @Myflesh101 The only thing I'd consider using these days is mushrooms with clear purpose and intent for the trip. I find that in serious moderation with purpose, mushrooms or other natural psychedelics can be therapeutic. Once you start abusing these things they cease to be beneficial and in the long run cause harm. mushrooms/acid definitely raise Jing like crazy. I remember popping 2 tabs once, and my sexual energy was through the roof. And yes, exercise is VERY addictive.

  • @MrAusty More incredible highs, Astral travel,hanging with animals,you know,and the more Jing/Ojas one has the more deeply pleasurable life becomes, the more sensual it becomes, just requires insight. Also the more prone one becomes to waking up(enlightenment),it's hard to predict who is going to wake up though hhahaha some of the most austere yogis may not awaken and a murderer just might, it's grace. But at least egoic life can be far more enhanced with the right lifestyle and energy focus.

  • @MrAusty There are specific herbs like ashwagandha/Amla that help take Raw sexual energy(Shukra-ayurveda, essence-chinese medicine, same thing) and transmute that into the more refined deeper substance Ojas-Ayurveda/Jing-chinese which is supposed to be the ultimate outcome of digestion(aquired Jing). Not to mention preserving your inherited Jing which is more challenging to replace. Rock on!

  • @Myflesh101 I currently take loads of Ashwagandha and Gotu-kola. I also drink Tulsi tea about twice a day sometimes with Shilajit added. I thought Amla was just for vitamin C but if it helps to replenish jing I may consider taking more of it. I seem to have issues when it comes to high intensity workouts sometimes, as it can make me feel even weaker and completely drained for days. Light exercise boosts energy by a lot for me. stimulants/stress/masturbation did this I am sure.

Yeah Amla is supp to be good for building Jing, vit C is just one aspect of it.As you might know herbs are in many ways preferable to isolated nutrients as the whole is very different than the parts. Yeah intense exercise will actuall drain Jing faster seemingly but it is still fun at times and as You continue to build so will Your capacity for intense exertion.Again with the money analogy some people do amazing things with Money(Jing) and others squander.

I'd rather do intese exercise, especially with weights because at least your building something(muscle) and your becoming conditioned. But Zak brought up something that sparked my interset which was doing training with lesss intensity, I'm experimenting with that now.This all assumes longevity is your main focus.The longest lived people aren't always exercising to exhaustion, so just depends on what you want.

  • @MrAusty I've been reading more and more how heavy aerobics is really not much of a health builder, better to do Yoga, tai-chi, tantra, hiking rather than lots of running or marathon stuff. Doing weights if you find the right balance of intensity I think is good. Exercise can be addictive, but is better in my opinion than drugs & lots of orgasmic sex. In my opinion though drugs is prob one of the biggest Jing drainers. I get sooooo high now with simple things like music, petting an animal etc;)

  • @liverawkstar I nearly put gojis in as they were right there in my cupboard but it was getting kinda crazy as it was. I would have also added those other things had I had them! Although personally, I'm not a fan of schizandra. While it is great for building up fluids and acts as an astringent, I find it enhances sensitivity a bit too much. This is something I avoid as it make avoiding ejaculation difficult next time around! It's great for those who want to increase that of course.

    This is a somewhat embarrassing question, but what herbs, supplements, and/or foods could one consume who's had an addiction to masturbation for an extended amount of time? I'm sure I'm not the only one who's in this position since mainstream American culture has lead us to believe that there's no harm in excessive ejaculation. Perhaps this could be a good topic for one of your video's as many would benefit from this information. Thank You.

  • @nhrevolutionist You have to break an addiction like that with willpower. There are herbs to counteract the negative effects of excessive ejaculation, but it won't do much for your urge to release, you have to make a decision and then start to gradually cut back. Reward yourself, say if I can make it one day without ejaculating I'll give myself "X" or if I can go three days without ejaculating I'll let myself do or have "X". Also don't expect yourself to go cold turkey right away indefinitely.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity Thanks for the encouraging words. I've managed to kick the bad habit a couple months ago cold turkey after reading Daniel P. Reid's "The Tao of Health, Sex, and Longevity" and was made aware of the importance of retaining semen. I'm assuming my testosterone levels are pretty low, amongst other things, due to years of excessive ejaculation and that's why I figured I'd ask if through supplements and/or herbs I could reverse any negative side effects.

  • @RawAthlete Drink raw dairy, and avoid taking things like saw palmetto and nettle root. DHT will naturally begin to increase. I'm not aware of foods or herbs other than dairy that can specifically affect DHT levels.
