Look, you believe that there is no difference between 2 parents vs 1 for the kids or a mom's relationship w/kids v the dad's.   • Term "marriage" has changed over time from a couple bound together as a family= kids + property and money to support and raise them (in theory), also being unfertile was the only reason to get divorse (at least for royalties, others were deprived of that anyway) to purely legal term turning around only money and property, legacy rights etc.

    In short, it was an evolution from family to relationship, so, from this point of view gay marriage is OK. Lawyers need work. 8D

Marriage was made by religious people and therefore they should have a right to protect what marriages were intended for, 1 man and 1 woman.   • No. Irrational aggression, territoriality and murder/cannibalism are all normal behavior for most species. We happen to take exception to such behavior because it interferes with our ability to maintain complex cooperative societies. It also happens to be unethical, but nature is not ethical.
