I have a feeling that maybe one of, or all of the original four survivors are potential infected.

Let's review:

- They're on bad terms with the military.

- They refuse to go along with the new survivors.

This leads me to believe that the military may have deemed them a potential threat, which explains the original crew's hesitation in joining the new crew, as well as their dislike towards the military of whom they fought so hard to join with from the first game.

Just a guess.

- In the original game they were confirmed to be immune

- Bills body wouldn't be there......

-The reason they are on bad terms with the military is probably because the military brought them South in the first place in the escape vehicle from blood harvest.

The military wouldn't have thought to do such a thing they would go through certain protocol. The original survivors probably mistook CEDA for the military because CEDA will gun anyone down in case of infection.

@MrSharo21 And the game doesn't have 7, yes there are 3 from the original, but you can't play as them, if they counted all of the survivors that are still alive( like the rescue people and the gun shop owner) then they would end up having to call the game left 9 dead. Boy, you sure are the pinnacle of genius.

@jjboy157 sorry i was focused on the "They refuse to go along with the new survivors." part....and i never really said you could play as the other three (in l4d2 atleast).....besides, i said 7 survivors 'altogether' meaning they will have to escape the apocalypse together. The rescue crew and Whitaker doesnt count since the rescuers come when its all over and whitaker only helped you by destroying a tanker..not help out with the other "problems"

@NtrMssion I sincerely doubght that considering that its Left 4 Dead and since the characters never get infected there must be a reason. In the parish they talk to a military guy who says are you infected and that means some people must be impervious to infection. So im guessing that the survivors are all imune somehow l4d1 and 2 survivors. Plus L4d1 is 2 weeks after first infection. look at the survivors there they would have to be zombies if its only 2 weeks after and they arent infected

And Bill was first . He turned into mutated beard-man and start to eat Louis leg but he aimed and shoot the Bill head and accindentaly bullet gone though his leg too.

So this is the reason why Louis is hurt and Bill died.

@NtrMssion there's one convesation at the end where zoey changes her mind and tells the four survivors to wait for them as they are leaving, so they couldn't hear them. only seen it once though and it was like the second day the campaing came out, maybe it got remmoved? (along with one line from elis on the elevating saying that he's gonna kill a tank and name it after zoey, only seen that one once too).

@NtrMssion More like carriers. I mean, of course they are infected, so are the 2nd crew. But they just cant turn into zombies, if they were not immune, they would be already zombies before the first level in the first game. Why do you think they're so many zombies and so few people are not zombies? Because immune people are rare. So in a sense, they are infected, but not exactly zombies because they carry the flu with them. :p

The Passing campaign was held AFTER Dead Center. (the mall campaign)
