Hey this is awesome and looks awrsome...i was just wondering if it works on the vibrant for tmobile but 2.2? ...is the vibrant just upgraded right now and then I saw this...does it work on 2.2?

@gta4fan1013 there are a number of kernels you can download without a pc that will let you overclock on froyo 2.2, you just got to find the right one that is most stable ^CptGemini

@gta4fan1013 there is no need for a video, just find a kernel that supports overclocking, flash it like you would a rom then download setcpu from the market if you dont have it installed already. ^CptGemini

just for info to everyone writing here 1.2MHz: if u run the phone with 1.2MHz, you'll get probably 10pts in benchmark. It's 1.2GHz or 1200MHz. Per default the phone runs with 1.0GHz thats 1000MHz. just a difference of thousands ;-) still nice vids =)

Just clocked 2751 after removing Ji6, lag fixed and overclocked with your process using no pc. Loading all my apps back on and still keep getting scores between 2300 and 2800. Not to mention my battery life is better than ever since the OTA removal. Nice job man!!!

hey guys if you received the update to j-16 DO-NOT run lag fix or try to run the 1.2 mhz over clocking. YOU WILL GET LOCKED OUT OF YOUR PHONE (you can still root if you want) also if you want to flash back to stock rom let akaskriller know and he will help.

@vmobiletechnosupreme This is n old video (nearly one year) btw if you are talking about the background is a live wallpaper, can't remember off the top of my head what it is called though but there is a free one and a paid one on the market. Also you can find skrillers email address on the bottom of some of the pages on the website. Go to the main page click enter site (hit refresh if the page hangs) then scroll all the way down and you'll see the address. YT doesnt really allow it n comments

hmm..so I overclocked it to 1.2 MHz and ran the quadrant and got a kickass score and all...BUT after a few days now I have come to a conclusion..IN my opinion I don't think this update makes ANY difference to the performance on your phone. I think the 200hmz update is so minute that it doesn't really show any significant speed in the overall performance..THIS is just my opinion BUT i would like to say that I have followed all your videos and they do work from rooting to lag fix it does work.

@Allovertheplace2012 ... it's does it put at 2550 on bench but 1.2mhz. Is for froyo so u can stream netfix and other stuff with out my 1.2 MHz you can't do that . 1.2mhz gives u a boost of power and now your phone is more like a PC .. laptops run at 1.2 to 1.4 so i don't see how over clocking to 1.2 is not worth it . It so if you want a phone ahead of the game but its your phone so have fun and good luck and hope you like all my free updates .... and customer service

But now I know its primarily for Froyo users. I will wait for your Froyo vid and def update my phone. Thanks again for your videos you really know what your doing dude. @Allovertheplace2012 The 1.2 Overclock reffers to your processor speed. Out of the box, the Samsung Vibrant is set to 800 Mhz. Which is fast but not as fast as this overclock akaskriller has made.  This sets the cpu to 1200 Mhz or 1.2 Ghz. This is faster than alot of computers!

@dontbeadb that update from t mobile is bad. Don't worry let it do it's thing my software will stop it it's a lock out and GPS fix don't worry about it. There trying to stop us but if you want to have it just unroot and undo lagfix and well you'll get it but then your locked out

All videos were awesome and ez to follow. I got my phone running lightning! Badass job akaskriller! But my phone storage is full. How do I store apps on my sd card? Do I need to wait for froyo to do that?

@Bearakuda ... no its the way all galaxy s are you need to change settings .. a fast way is to use astro and move them in to sdcard. In astro at the top is a blue bar when it is /sdcard that's your phone memory no your sdcard ok so in astro /sdcard is a folder called SD that's your card so move stuff there but leave the system's ones if you need call me 623 308 6975

@Sader2202 to get back to stock go to recovery mode & click delete all user data & same with the cache data & then it is lick new but you will not want to cos this mod really makes it go fast
