Any sanctions on Iran without Chinese and Russian support cannot be "crippling". Period. You can fume that these are empty words, and I have to agree (despite being a liberal), but because of the current state of sanctions there is little more we can do without those two cooperating.
In a parliamentary system, we would be recalling these gangsters so fast... we've become a banana republic where the rule of law is second to the will of petty tyrants.
