I approach this question in a different way than just to say yes or no. If an immortal human were born, a person who lives forever. Theoretically that person can practice and practice but never be able to acquire and master a skill that another person does better or more efficiently. This bothers me. I like to think of it in that if someone lived forever a person can practice a skill to the where one masters the skill.
Say the all-time basketball point scorer retires. Why has no athlete reached his level of point scoring? Is it because he is naturally better than everyone else? I like to think not. I believe that individual learned quickly and sufficiently to the point where no one can compete at his level. So if a regular Joe practiced enough he to can be like the all-time point scorer.
Ibelieve everyone can replicate everybodys skills but everybody cant do everything that people do because they don’t have time because humans average life span is 100.I think its what interests a person to do what they like and practice it to the point of mastery and dominance.Just that they decided to do that.So when james decides tobe a boxers at the age of 40 he will have a hard time becoming a world champion boxer.I think why people are generally better than others is that they learn faster
