Unions are worthless, I contributed for several years with the CWA. I was laid off in 2008, no one was there to help. All they do is take your money, your better off using that money and buy yourself something nice. I had to contribute because if I didn't they would cold shoulder me and make my job harder even though it was hard enough on it's own. The only people that profit from this are the union stewards.

@gumsidebiz Unions can't perform miracles. I worked for Chrysler(UAW) for over thirteen years, I wouldn't have wanted to set foot in those plants without Union representation. You think those plants would be as safe a working place, or ergonomically designed/set up if it weren't for the decades of persistence from our predecessors, no way. Don't be so short sited to blame your job loss on the Union, sometimes it happens. I wouldn't have had it any other way. SOLIDARITY FOREVER !

LOL this is hilarious. Walmart distribution centers is one of the most highly paid distribution jobs their is. My dad manages one of these warehouses and the starting pay in his building is over 16 bucks an hour with many pay increases overtime. I dont get why these people bitch and moan.

WRONG. I work for Walmart Logistics and it's a no fault policy in attendance. If you are just standing in a perfectly safe area and someone who is not following safety procedures hits you, that is not your fault, but if you were standing somewhere you shouldnt and you get hit then it is. Walmart takes safety very seriously and they should.

Guess what? If you don't like your pay or job... GET A ANOTHER JOB WITH PAY YOU DO LIKE!!!!! That's what I did.... I went from $8.00 an hour to $19.62 in less than 5 years...Without collage.... I didn't change trades either... People get paid what they are worth... Unions are for worthless people that want more money without having to be more productive... Get a life losers....
