The British Empire has a horrible and bloody history. As an Englishmen I'm intrigued to read this book. I don't think you could say the English, a country of only 56 million people can be blamed for ruining the world. And on the other side, there's many positive contributions the English have made, both culturally and scientifically. It'd be interesting to see how the English stack up against say the US and their murderous foreign policies.
