  • Wow, I remembered correctly, thought it was 53 years ago. IMDB says it was the first act of the first show of Dick Clark's evening program. But it was February, 1958, not Fall 57. Knew what grade I'd been in; forgot which semester it was.

  • Thanks. I haven't seen this in 52 years, I guess. And I never forgot it. Could have sworn it was Fall, 1957, though. I thought he did this as the first act of the first show of Dick Clark's new evening program, at 730 or so, Friday or Saturday. Anyway, the performance still stands up.
