They reverse the pump and suck back most of the concrete back into the hopper. Then they suck a big round sponge through it. Everything ends up back in the hopper and they empty that through a hatch on the bottom of it and wash with water. They don't clean the lines completely. On the next job they will prime the line with some water and dirt (muk) to slick the line. When they start to pump, that concrete will clean out any residue.
Love the pumper jobs. Did a pour Monday that ended up go soooo slow. Worked 21 hours straight.

@153eddy It was filmed in Alberta, Canada. They are using full tractor trailer units now. They hold 12-13 meters too.
