I'm inspired by this Video. We stutters have hope to improve and able speak normally. I've been suffered this for the past 20 years. I'm gradually improve with Mum's support/motivation. I'm going for speech therapist after watching this video. I wanna speak like those Heroes/Heroins above ;)
@guitarbutterflyable Thanks for the kind words. Our annual benefit gala is such a wonderful experience each year. If you are interested in learning about therapy options for stuttering, please let us know.
unfortunately, therapy doesn't work for some of us and i am beginning to lose faith. I decided that I can't go on like this; this life is not worth living. I consider myself a lucky guy because I got to see Emily Blunt in this liifetime
@lavezzi11 I feel like that a lot man, trust me. But, I am not a quitter and whether I like it or not this is the only life I've got so just do whatever it takes to be happy man.
I'm struggling to find a job right now, its hard man I feel like dying sometimes but I just can't because I know something good will happen eventually. Don't give up!
Brilliant video. Wish there was something like this in England. Emily doesn't seem to have a stutter at all, but from the way she explained how she would replace yes with affirmative etc... its clearly evident she did have one. Kudos to the people who spoke up as well, great courage.
@StutteringTreatment Yes I went to Hollins and did very well in the clinic but could not keep up the technique due to stress and blocking in real life. I went back to suffering in silence..Maybe I didn't practice enough.
@ig88sir I think I know what the problem is, you didn't learn how to correctly do "definite completion of the final articulatory position", write me....
I'm so impressed with this video. First, because of how professional it looks... but mostly because of the content. It was really refreshing for me to hear the honesty of Joe Moglia's fears when it comes to stuttering. What a cool guy. It was also special to see how AIS has helped those two very, very remarkable children (Joseph and Jodriann) who spoke at the Gala. Those have to be to of the coolest kids on the planet. And lastly, from one stuttering musician to another, great song Miles!
I'll wait for that .....and if there are so many great actors who stuttered then we should try to make a Hollywood movie showing the dark side of stuttering. The emotions and pain and most importantly the Success. Will smith wud be the best to act in this movie.I know that he doesnt stammers but still.just like the movie "Front of the class", showing toutettes syndrome.
They don't know why but when you sing, you don't stutter.
