Although it offered solid graphics and a massive world for it's time, it doesn't live up to the rank of Metal Gear. Grow up and learn about the world around you. Learn about military. Start with MGS3, Then play MGS1 MGS2 THEN MGS 4.

Learn about the cold war. MGS is by far they best story told in any GAME you will ever find.

You have to be interested in military things. When I was young I hated all the talking and chit chat in MGS, but it grew on me after I studied government in HS :)

I am a huge Metal Gear fan, in my opinion 2008 was the greatest year for gaming. GTA IV, MGS 4, GOW 2, and Fallout 3, not to mention titles like dead space and battlefield bad company. Wow. When I play MGS4 now I notice that there aren't too many enemies and places where you get to sneak or fight. The design is very linear and memorable. It doesn't give you too many choices even with all the abilities you don't get to used them too often. This makes the game too easy and simple. There should be more places too go, more enemies to sneak behind and on top of all there should be bigger areas where you get to do it and more ways to get to your objective.
