  • Rich or poor, Negros all have similar and negative behaviors.

  • I just wanted to say thank you for posting this because I honestly never thought I would get a chance to see his grave since it is in a private part of the Cemetery! Even seeing it just on here was helpful for me! I have been a huge Sammy Davis fan for years and just started reading all the books on him again! His journey has helped me on my journey and all I wanted was a chance to see his grave...Thank you again!!!

  • @CrooningCardinal It was our honor to visit the late great Sammy Davis, Jr.'s gravesite and you are very welcome.

  • dont you guys have any thing better to do

  • Esse semitério é aberto ao púlblico?

Falo qualquer pessoa pode ir lá?

  • It's amazing HOW FAMOUS these people were in life and how lonely their graves are. That shows that we are truly but a whisper in this life.

  • ......

  • wow him and his mom

  • so ya all have a key to where he is buried? i ask because i know where he is buried(glendale forest lawn) but it is locked to the general public, do you have somoene you know buried in there? this is the same place wehre michael jackson is buried

  • We just went into the office and matter-of-factly asked for the key to that area. We did not mention Sammy Davis, Jr. The woman there gave us the key. I don't know if she was supposed to or not.

  • @death2ur they did not ask you if you had a person buried there or not? if so, so that means i can also go visit michael jacksons gravesite and there isnt a supposed list of people that can visit it proably, and it was just something said to sway would be fans from vandalizing it.

reason i am asking is glendale forest lawn is VERY tight with thier security. i couldnt even take a picture of the supper window because they said people instead took pics of jean harlows site

  • For God's sake, take it easy on these guys...everyone looks a little less intelligent on home movies...think about it. They're not diggin people up or anything...and I wish I lived out that way so I could see some of these gravesights too. Just because they happen to walk across the grass and maybe over someone's grave doesn't mean sh*t. They're dead!!! Trust me, it's the least of their worries.....don't take it so hard just because the man is wearing a sleevless shirt...it's hot out there!

  • Hey, thanks. A lot of people act differently when they know people are watching. We ain't those people. We is what we is.

  • @ytownteddy Its about respect not to walk on the graves. There is a walkway for a reason.

  • Easily the best all round entertainer of the 20th century.

I saw him live in London about 10 years before he died and he was terrific then I would have loved to have seen him as a young man.

He was the best of the best.

  • show some respect

  • i agree walking over someone grave is just disrecpectful

  • It seems to me that you do this because it's the only way you can get to these people, ie, after they're dead and they can't avoid you.

I'm really glad that none of my family were famous - I'd hate to think of people like you treating their grave site as an exciting tourist attraction.

There's something very uncomfortable about it and I can't put my finger on it.

It's impersonal, intrusive, and it seems really disrespectful of Sammy and his family.

Leave him and them alone. Please.

  • @kara1464 If Sammy didnt want the attention maybe he should have spent his life doing something more low key. Thats the price of fame and getting rich...and famous people know this too...even though they complain about it. Its a trade off...make millions...but your never left alone. Even in death.

  • What a pair of scruffy bastards!

  • Disgusting people.

  • These people are disgusting. It's as though they're laughing at the dead. I'll bet they were born completely devoid of any artistic talent themselves. They should 1. say a prayer; 2. NOT take pictures

  • Sammy Davis was a great man who i loved in the Cannonball run movies.

  • Thanks guys for uploading these graves. I love this stuff and living so far away in Australia it's probably my only chance of seeing any of them. Keep it up.

  • All these negative comments are ridiculous...if you dont want to see them stop watching

  • to everyone who is all butt hurt. dont worry... i dont think the dead really care about them walking through the sites and having a laugh. thanks for all the interesting vids.

  • Take the side walk! You don't just walk over someone's grave. Show some respect. I agree with the last poster. You are ignorant redneck FUCKS!

  • I grew up in a rural area, and every time I want to leave the city...all I need to do is watch this, to remember why I left. They shoul ban Wal Mart from selling video recording equipment. Embarassing.

  • I hear you, Man. It's not just that I adore Mr. Davis but these 2 asswipes should find something better to do than defile an American icon. Thanks for being on the same page with me, Bro.

  • I guess being from the city makes you a condescending, elitist who is above shopping at Wal-Mart. Actually, we're from the city and we're embarrassed by pea-brained blow hards like yourself.

  • We can't walk on the sidewalk because we might "step on a crack and break our mamma's back." Which superstition should we cow-tow to you simple-minded shit stain.

  • You are chasing dead people and you think you have the right to call other people simple-minded? That's funny!

  • Finding the dead is hardly a "simple" activity. Your put down was not a parallel argument. Try again.

  • 2 rednecks with a video camra. & no respect for the dead. You should at least take off your hat.

  • I remember the announcement of his passing. Jim Henson of The Muppets died that same day.

  • Hey CDM you are wrong about that! He was in debt but the removable of his body for jewelery is untrue. As a matter of fact Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, and others took care of his back taxes as well as his funeral. Get your facts straight before you talk about a great man, entertainer, dancer, and humanitarian.

    Tappin' MJ

  • I read that Mr. Davis died of throat cancer and despite surgery that could have saved him, he would rather have kept his voice then have part of his throat removed.

  • I recently read that when Mr. Davis died he left his family with large sums of debt. A few months after he died, the bills came due and the taxes on his estate needed to be paid. He wanted to be buried with his Millionaire jewelry, but his wife had him exhumed and his jewelry taken to pay the debts. How sad...

  • Gentlemen...

Thank you for putting up your video of Sammy Davis Jr.'s last home. As a peson who lives in Canada, I doubt that I will ever get the chance to visit Sammy's gravesite in person, so this very well could be the next best thing.

Having been a fan all of my adult life, I had often wondered what his final resting place was like. It seems to be very peaceful, and a fitting area for the tap shoes to remain silent.

    Once again, my sincere thanks.

  • Very well said. And you are very welcome.

  • mr sammy davis jr was simply the best.rest in peace.

  • Hello 2ur. I liked your video. Its nice that you and your friends take the time to go out and visit the graves of the famous but I'm wondering if you could do soemthing for me if at all possible. I cant really drive yet and Texas is very far from my home, where I live in Maryland. I was wondering would you guys visit Noah John Paul Luke and Mary Yates graves? they're all buried together past a stream I think. I try and leave a message for each of them on thier findagrave memorials

  • We are considering Texas as our next big 2ur. The Yates children, as painful as that visit would be, would probably be included. It wouldn't be until next spring, though.

  • thank you very much. I would like to see their grave but I cant get out there. Yes the story of the Yates children and their mommy is very sad very tragic but they are at peace and are angels. Andrea is probably going to buried at the gravesite when she dies herself. won that right in the divorce settlement. RIP Noah John Paul Luke and Mary God bless. Thier dad has a site in their memory yateskids

  • Hi Ur. what the name of your website?

  • They won't let us post it here, but if you go to our channel, there are a couple of links there.

  • thanks.

  • nice layout on your site. When you go to texas next spring would you visit the yates family home as well in Clear Lake City, just wondering cause you guys visted the scene of Nicole simpson's death. I think I would be to scared to even see the house up close and personal and stuff but I've seen the inisde of it at Yateskids dot org though. very um different now apparently.

  • We will keep that in mind. Thanks.

  • Sammy towards the end of hes life hes finances were rock bottom. Frank payed for some hes debts and funeral costs

  • death2ur you guys are the best another great vid clip

  • Hey, thanks. We appreciate it.

  • Why is this disrespectful?Graveyards aren't for the dead, they are for the living to pay their respects. The fact that theyvisit the grave at all is a sign of respect, that's why there is a grave there inthe first place. If nobody visited it what would be the point. Good Work Guys...

  • Thanks much.

  • No respect

  • Certainly none for you.

  • when you walk across the grave of the dead.... NO RESPECT

  • That's baloney. We respect everyone we visit.

  • And if I step on a crack will I break my mamma's back?

  • Give these guys a break, they took the time to go out there and document it for us to see. And hate to break it to ya, but mowers run over all the graves all the time and so do people walking to get to other graves.

  • Hey, we appreciate that. We always make a conscious effort to avoid walking on the graves, but sometimes it just isn't possible. I think in this video one of us accidentally walked across one. There is certainly no intent and when you visit as many cemeteries as we do, it just sometimes happens. Thanks again.

  • No respect. THis sucks

  • What do you mean no respect? How is this no respect?
