A while ago a rule was created that the president had to give the senate a few day before his recess appointment, but nowhere in the constitution does it mention such a time limit. Once Congress is out to recess, the president can appoint who he wants till they come back from the predetermined time. Not what they (Senate) say it is.

I think the reason we don't have a show like TYT in Canada is because our MSM hasn't developed into the bat-shit-crazy faux left-right media the American's have; yet (keep an eye out on Sun News). When we get a left network and a right network spinning all their news like mad, then, I think we'll get a show like TYT to set those fuckers straight. Well, in comparison to America, currently unemployment rate is quite low, there's universal health care like you've mentioned, generous social security, stable economy, public transport that doesn't smell like infected vagina, significantly lower crime rate with similar gun laws, non-extreme income inequality, and has a higher human development rate. The United Nations has placed Canada as the 12th best place to live in the world, with the US rank down to 23rd
