  • Really loved the song, pretty relentless pounder....not too sure on the goofing around for the whole video, but would buy the music for sure

  • hehehe,

    I loose my words ...

    Its awesome and much more...

    lots of love from Brazil,

    JR

  • Truly great production.Steve can certainly hold a note.Don't think the other three guys took the vid seriously which seems to take the edge off.Top song although I have never heard it at any northern soul all-nighters I don't think. Thanks for uploading and for the info.

  • Is the initial drum intro sampled from The Sequins "Case Of Love"??? Hmmm?

  • Absolutely not.

  • Hi, I'm Søren from Denmark. I hope that people who like this music will join up to receive "Reaching For The Best - The IAN LEVINE Newsletter". I'm doing a regular e-mail newsletter for people who are fans of Ian Levine's music, just like myself. If you too are a genuine fan of his productions, and you love seeing these videos, then send me a message with your e-mail address and I'll add you to the list. It's all free, it's with Ian's full co-operation, so please join in!

  • great sound really love it

  • Steve's a great vocalist. Pity he fell in with Simon Build-Them-Up-Shoot-Them-Down Cowell. If you could see your way to putting up his version of Walk Away And Never Look Back that would be amazing.

  • We never filmed it. How did you know about it ???

  • You mentioned it on another video! Can't remember which... Oh dear, am I not supposed to know about that? :-)

  • i'd like to re-record that song as a luther style ballad vocal, guitar and percussion vibe, maybe add cello. great song!

  • If this were on a CD, i'd buy it yesterday

  • It was. It was released on a CD called "Northern Soul 2004" on the Goldsoul label.

  • Thank you, Ian. Found it, bought it, and I can hardly wait 'til it gets here (Pasadena, Calif.). Thanks again.

  • omg this is great ...xxx

  • Happy song... Makes my day :)

  • One word GREAT

  • I can't stop watching this video, it's too dam good

  • How did you get the background music to sound so good. If I wouldn't have seen this video I would have guesed this song were from the sixties. This song reminds me of The Isley Brothers for some reason.

  • Go on E-Bay and try to find a UK album called Solid Ground. Most of it's by the original Motown acts and all the tracks sound like this.

  • It's awesom to see a newer-age group performing such great music. These guys so don't look like soul singers! Great video!
