my brother is in the army and i'm so proud of him and all the soldiers out there protecting our county and freedom but at the same time it's so scary not knowing what's going on with them or not knowing where they are. to the soldier out there please come home safe.

Everyone can find a good reason to serve or not to serve this nation. What we are willing to do for our country now, will set the standards of respect for our children in the future. We can not relied on what happened in Laos forever. However, when our children can say my Dad was a US soldier or US Marine. That makes a big difference. That's why some of us continue to carry on the sacrifices that many great men and women has done for us. 12 years US Marine Corps. ALmost time to retire.

I don't see what's so great about the U.S. other than the "Freedom". Do you even know the others that were left behind? We're here because we told the U.S. or "reminded" them about their promise to our people. And without us, the U.S. would have lost more people in the war if they went in alone.
