She still has a lot of time to further improve, learn... after 45 maybe her voice will weaken (that happens! it's just nature) but until then she can only grow. I discovered her recently and she's quickly become my favourite though Simone too is great...

And yes, Floor is also beautiful. Not a rail-thin silicone-laden pop idol, she's a real woman, a warrior princess...

I agree DarkOceansoul90, Floor is the best. No female metal singer has her versatility combined with her presence on stage. Plus, I met her at what is now AF's last show in Toronto, and she was extremely nice to boot. Not a diva at all.

Yep like realdimansions says. There's no "best" singer because the choice is always very subjective. Some may find singer A better than singer B, even when singer B is technically much better or more complete (I agree, Floor), just because the sound of singer A may appeal more to the person. Same with guitar players, drummers, keyboard players and whatever form or musicianship or art. Everyone has his/her own preferences and everyone gives other values to different elements of singing.

I am addicted to both singers too. I saw Nightwish in Allentown, PA on Sunday and I had mixed feelings at the show. Anette had an average show while the rest of the band did very well. I liked the songs that Marco sang more than Anette and when she sang some of the older Nightwish songs it was somewhat hard to enjoy.
