idk... I'm experiencing issues with this on patch 12 myself. Not sure if it's me or it was fixed in some way... my friend and I can do the run once each and then loose the way point11111111.
i havnt played the beta, but im 100% sure people wont be doing this in d3, seeing as its normal? and low lvl items? people are going to be wanting to do nightmare and hell runs, and normal items would seem worthless?
Im Playing on beta 12 right now and trying this with one of my friend, anyone else experiencing problem with the waypoints? everytime i try to restart a game to keep the run going i dont have the waypoint anymore and it resets to first quest
@FreeTh1nk3r You do know that everyone has there own individual loot... and that... no one can take your items.. let alone even see the items that drop.
@DuckyLoveD2FPK Every time someone trolls with incorrect grammar, I die a little on the inside. Capitalize next time you decide to punctuate, because you just look stupid.
Blizzard should seriously make it so that you need to do at least x% (10% would probably work the best) damage to boss or mini boss, before you are eligible for loot, in other words, if you do less then that damage, nothing drops for you. Otherwise we will have characters decked in full MF gear doing nothing to contribute to the kill, that get more (undeserved) loot then the ones actually doing the killing. In the final game.
just played with your friend frank, he was standing there naked level 1 so I figured I'd kill SK for him and he tipped me off about your vid. Thanks for these tips, how did you figure this out?
@Grug16 from personal experience I have to disagree. Every time I roll Barb Mighty Weapons have a high % drop rate, Every time I roll DH Bows drop more, and this goes for every class.
You must not have the beta and if you do you must not do rare runs often because if you did you would know that the class that you pick effects the drops from SK. This might not be so for the retail release but it is undoubtedly true for Beta Patch 9.
@Grug16 This is not to say that you cannot get a bow to drop on a Barbarian or a cloak to drop on a Witch Doctor. What I am saying is that the class you pick will Effect the drops. Meaning the % chances will increase on class specific items of your current class.
Again I am not saying this will be true for the retail version, but I stand by my first statement that it is undoubtedly true for Beta Patch 9.
Yeah as soon as you said more players = more mf in the video I popped out to post a comment, glad to see that's been addressed. No reason to wait for 3 more to join the game, just jump in, kill the returned, and leave.
I am quite shocked on how the quest / share system is turning out. I'm actually expecting Diablo 3 to be massively abused, maybe even more so than Diablo 2. I really hope Blizzard gives the game a major overhaul, even if it means we wait another year.
Is the D3 loot system different from D2? The level 1 toon has loot available that others cannot see or pick up. Is that just bosses? Or just first time kill on bosses? Or game wide based on killing blows?
A viewer by the name of pmpch has brought it to my attention that the MF% is not effected by the # of players but the time it takes to get items will be less in larger games. What I should have said in my video is
"The fact that you're killing faster (which you will) in a group means more items in less amount of time" which is a direct quote from Bashiok. Thanks pmpch for bringing this to my attention.
The blue post will be in the description for you viewing pleasure! Thanks again to pmpch!
You'll also be happy to know this was posted on the Battle.net forums for Diablo III. I wouldn't be surprised if you received a few warnings from Blizzard to cease and desist. :)
@RGDiablo3 No, you are the one who is wrong. The number of items /you/ see is not increased by having more players in the game. There are 4 players getting drops and supposedly killing things faster. That's the incentive to play with other people.

Item drops are not influenced by your class.

bizae 2 months ago
@bizae Yes the loot system is different, each person sees their own drops, so theres no more fighting over loot.
