Man i am used to playin neck through guitars i have a jackson rr5 i was lookin at the jim root signature then i decided to check the mick thomson out how are the clean tones on this guitar

@afireinsidemysoul Well mine is an older model with EMG 81 on the neck and 60 on the bridge. They sound amazing with clean tones. Neck one has a clean and very accurate sound while the bridge one has a warm and mellow sound. And the combination of these two is sweet. But the newer model of this guitar has Seymour Duncans. I can't say much about them. I guess you should just search a preview of this guitar on YouTube.

@afireinsidemysoul ik have a schecter guitar with the seymour duncan's that are also in the resent MTM 2 and they are very good for al kinds of music cause play metal with high gains but also blues with al little overdrive and clean stuff and it sounds good everyway, the neck has a realy nice and warm sound but if you want to play clean on the bridge you might want to roll bach your volume i hoop this gets you further (sorry if there's anny bad english)

I use it through Nuendo 3 as a VST plugin. So I can make tracks there, where one plays the song and the other one is for my playing. I hope you got the point. :D

Yes. It came with Drop B tuning, but it changed it to Drop C. And yes, it's a very good guitar. Fits for playing fast licks n stuff. :)
