ok im in a band too im the bass player i also play guitar and basic drummers two tips for the  bass player 1. move around alot more i used to be exactly the same i didnt move all tht much but you gett so much more attention when u go crazy on stage just have an energy drink before u go on and 2. try to use ur fingers instead of a pick its easier to play u can get into slapping the bass that way and that is the best thing ive ever learned to do on bass especially it sounds awesome
