It is such a pity that indie bands stayed indie back then. Now this sort of music is pretty much mainstream. All those great bands, all those great tracks and yet the majority of Britain and the world know nothing of them. Bands like The Editors, Bloc party, Cold Play, Radiohead to name just a few are all critically acclaimed these days and rightly so cos they are great too, yet there were so many equally great bands that had gone before that hardly anyone knows of.
