hmm. I used to be a machinist. Those jobs disappeared. I was laid off, used that time to get an Associate degree and now have a job as a government contractor with awesome benefits and making way better money. If you have a degree and youre broke with no job, it's because you are just plain lazy and won't go look for work.
@elitestar Or they might want a better life for themselves. College involves applying oneself and working hard. I went to college and I do have my own mind I'm speaking it now. Im also am way better off than before I went. The more stable and better paying jobs require degrees.
@KRSchannel idiot, the Egyptians never had a "college education", and look at what they built. The Sumerians didn't and look at what they built. The point he's making is you can learn without forking over gobs of cash. College is scam. After two BAs and one MA, I agree with this man.
@yourdaddy20192 if you went to college, you wouldn't be using such language. College is not about learning how to make money, it's about gaining knowledge of the world which you will never be disciplined enough to learn. The only people who agree with not going to college, are the ones who never wanted to in the first place, so they look for these videos for excuses. I am going to college right now, and it's free.
@KRSchannel I never said college was about learning how to make money. As far as language goes, the way an individual speaks has nothing to do with his/her intelligence. I know plenty of people that cuss up storms and have an IQ of 150. The point this gentlemen is making, is that you don't have fork over gobs of cash or in your case play whatever it is you're playing to learn something from any college. You don't have to take anthropology class to understand a culture.
@KRSchannel Just go out there and experience it for yourself. You want to learn law, pick up a damn law book and read it. That's the point he's trying to make. Making money is an easy thing to do once you know what you're doing, pick up a business book. You don't have to go to school to learn how to run a business. Everything I learned in school on how to run my business had nothing to do with running my business. I learned by actually doing it.
@KRSchannel And everything they "taught" me I already knew because I read books. I forked over gobs of cash to "learn" everything I already knew. He's right! all it is, is a piece of paper. I didn't realize that until I earned my MBA. Absolutely worthless.
I have been thinking the same thing for the last 4 months since i finished school, about the same subject, and despite all the countless attempts of my parents to convince me how important it is, and how much i "need" it, they have failed, because they were never able to answer me the simple question... Why? I didn't apply for any college, nor do i plan too. I completely agree with you're video and share youre point of view.
Your very intelligent :) Best of luck to you in life. Yes, I think if Jesus did exist he was black, or atleast a man of color but ofcourse you will have people who have pictures of Jesus as white with blonde hair and blue eyes because of white superiority. We are all the same. I am mixed and my parents taught me to treat people as individuals. Also, since life began in Africa, then all of humanity is of African decent. Racists are very retarded.
@kittykat979 Jesus did exist and he was born in Israel, not the Congo... Go visit Israel and you will see the people there are not black, they are white. I have seen plenty of Israelis with very European features (including blonde hair, blue eyes/green eyes). Nobody can be sure how he looked, but he definitely wasn't black.
@elitestar sorry but your comment makes no sense. on one hand you say 'nobody can be sure how he looked" then on the other you say "he definitely wasn't black". your confused he was brown or darker which would make him black.truthfully his message is the only thing that matters.
@elitestar visit the essene church of christ and see how they paint jesus and mary magdalene :) the reason i said he might be black is how his features are described in the bible, but i think the essene church of christ has a pretty interesting depiction of how they think he would have looked. it doesn't matter what color he was though...sometimes its better to just paint nothing for him....thats what is wrong with humans today....so focused on color. peace be with you!
Well, college is good for some fields of study (Medicine, Law, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) Now, while I am glad to have a Degree in Info Technology, I know so many other people who have Bachelors and Masters degrees and, yet, yet........THEY CAN'T FIND JOBS. THEY ARE STARK BROKE! For those who have finally found something, they are flipping burgers or buffing floors just to pay back $30,000 in student loans! Thank god for my "Plan B" (an RE license).
@Mrbrianjohnson951 Like I said in another comment.......there are other people who I personally know (including family members) who are glad that they continued their education, but now that they have their degrees in Accounting, Computer Science, or whatever, they CAN NOT find work! This economy is just damn ridiculous! And I recently dropped an entire semester because I'm like "the hell with it....it's time to get back to work so I can pay some bills off." Get deeper in debt for what??
@thesiouxgoddess I'm curious..could you ask them why the were glad they can continue there education..and were they actively trying to finish it quickly..or were they trying to 'enjoy' the experience of college.
Dude, I almost shed a tear by listen to all that you said because I've been saying this FOREVER, but I'm surrounded by zombies and SHEEPLE; especially my Family.
Without a formal education, you wouldn't have google, apple, or even your little internet browser. Education is important, otherwise you just turn into a blind person like rest of the Rush Limbaugh followers or your "conservatives", but I do not support education with a Ferrari size price tag, but once the bubble will burst, and education will be cheap again, IT WILL BE WORTH IT.
It is my fervent prayer and hope that at some point and time real soon we Blacks STOP all of our infighting.....so that we can come together and with a common cause to identify our common enemy and then let us deal wisely with them. It is our division as a people that has allowed our enemies to be so successful over us. Many of us have sold out for money and material things and those type negroes must be identified as well. We need to have a national shut down so we can come together in truth.
that razor u shaved ur beard with, ur clothes, the smoke, the glasses. are all aspects of this wester civilisation. yes college may be a waste at first but the only way to overcome that is to use college to further develop this western society. using college and going against it is pointless. i would liek to come against it too but we cant do anything bout its existence. so best thing to do is go to college and work for the system
A formal education is a plus however you look at it. Just because some college grads do not have jobs is irrelevant. There is a huge positive correlation between education and income levels. BTW, the camera you used and system to show the video was created by college graduates, not to mention the roads, phones, TVs, etc.
@birdwellconsulting there's a lot of people who don't seem to get this, and think they're better and more wise because they in fact haven't been to college. yes while its true you can make a success out of yourself without going, our countries also need highly educated people to provide services and do highly technical roles that in fact keep the country running. Those who arrogantly moan about and devalue education, should see how industries would collapse if everyone didn't go to college/uni
this guy is so right, fortunatley i only wasted two years of my time at college for a bachelors, the first two i did at community college in high school, what a waste!!! The truth is todays college isnt your grand daddys college. A degree is like a hunting license for a job. Most jobs you dont even need a degree. Not to mention, even with a degree you still start out at the bottom anyways. Everyone I know who has jobs has no degree.
this dude is f#$#@ amazing! his cocky attitude is awesome. some people with type of attitude suck, but it compliments him and what he stands for. i hope he still makes videos!
Lol, I like how all your examples of people who have done great without a formal education were black. Ohhh, you're so cutting edge. You don't wanna be part of Western Civilization but you wanna be PC? Whatever, And Malcom X was a pimp prior to being a professional race hustler. As far as not needing a degree, that I must agree to. Unless you are a skilled person seeking a skilled degree from an excellent University, I'd say save your money.
I hope this is satire. Telling people NOT to get a formal education, while enjoying all the benefits of Western civilization that was constructed by many people who in fact went to college, seems a bit hypocritical. You want to destroy this civilization? How funny is it that the people who have leeched on the tit of western society their whole lives somehow come up with an idea of destroying that very same civilization. Move to Somalia. Problem solved.
@TheSolidOnyx Man your beliefs are your beliefs but holy crap you seem to be misinformed as hell. Sure not everything is what they say it is. No kidding, but WOW. Good for a laugh though. Dont advise you wearing a swastika it might get you into alot of trouble unfortunately :/
@TheSolidOnyx and how many with degrees that have gone on to get a very well paid job and work their way up faster in a company? There's all this arrogant talk from people against those who go to college/university, for no reason whatsoever. They say students feel they are better than them, when in truth a lot of the time as well it is the other way round - they think they are better than students!
@TheSolidOnyx Black onyx is right. yes, it can soemtimes help a little to get a college degree, depending on what subject, but most of the time, at least these days, it is a waste of money, when you could go out and learn "hands on" skills yourself.
I am quitting college, maybe will sneak into a class or two without paying (my tax money already goes there) to develop some TECHNICAL skill (like filmmaking) as opposed to something like english or History I could teach myself. dont feedthe beast
Cynicism gets us nowhere friend. I too held similar feelings towards college until I realized, you need that piece of paper to show that you can do the work your employer expects of you. Education and learning is goes on until you die, but credentialism is what it's all about. Just like anything in life, college is what you make of it. You get what you put in. At the end of the day, I want to graduate from college just so I can say I did.
@TheSolidOnyx Sure there are some careers that don't require a college degree however when you bluntly state that college is useless, that is when I disagree with you. There are many VITAL careers that require a college education. Healthcare is a prime example. Doctors, nurses, scientists, etc.
@myassin2009 Yeah. We need more people to administer MERCURY to their children and give abortions while sidestepping any possible mention of side effects like breast cancer while under the veil of being "trustworthy because of your paper".
@TheSolidOnyx Could it be that either they are not applying themselves, picked the wrong major as the market is flooded, or are just plain lazy and won't get up off their ass and look for work? I had my job just 2 months after I graduated college. It's all about intestinal fortitude, and not being a lazy ass
@TheSolidOnyx Could it be that either they are not applying themselves, picked the wrong major as the market is flooded, or are just plain lazy and won't get up off their ass and look for work? I had my job just 3 weeks after I graduated college. It's all about intestinal fortitude, and not being a lazy ass. Start your own business, or use the net to look for work instead of telling people not to get educated.
@ikanipo Oh please, you think the world was at a stand still before university education, which is nothing but a training system for sheeple? Best thing I learned in university was that success depends on a sheeple mentality, not intelligence. Those I saw succeed in the psychology industry were foolish kids with no life experience.
@ikanipo The reason why in America many are told not to go to college is because 1) there are no jobs, 2) this is the main reason, college tuition here is ridicously expensive, so when you graduate you are already in bankrupcy at the very start of your life. I think the point is to be educated, but not getting a formar education. Ex: being educated = learning by reading, learning a trade, using thinking skills. Formal education = what you learn in college.
@ikanipo If all of us become doctors..lawyers..scientist..then who the heck do anything else. We've too much of those...but don't have enough jobs for those people.Inventing and innovation usually come from one individual or another..college don't make these innovations..the people going to college probably already are talented and hardworking and would've succeed anyways. You have to prove that college makes them intelligent and not just use these people to increase there reputation.
@ikanipo Most of western civilization was built on the backs of slaves and the bodies of Indians.
And how the hell can you leech off something you actually pay for through taxes that don't even go to improving "Western civilization" but to pay off off years of irresponsible spending of the US government to foreign central bankers?
@Igman2020 My point is your limiting your options by going to college and your getting caught in a very viscious system thats worst than the credit card debt or even the mortgage crisis and what do you get after 5-10 years worth? a job that pays you at best 60k a year?
I encourage people to weigh in their options and if they want to make bank go make friends with some millionares and start changing the way they think. Take action on their finances. Stay out of debt and invest is the key.
@Igman2020 I said the series 65 allows people to manage people with a series 6. Thus you can become an RVP or regional manager and mange people who sell investments. You aren't a very good listener.
All the series 7 is just a stock broker license. I know a few stock brokers who make good money. At the end of the day ill trust my good friend without a college degree who drives a Lamborghini than someone with a 5 college degree who sports a BMW.
@Igman2020 They don't teach students this as they are walking in the door and signing their lives away. In fact it's worst than enlisting in the united states military. You get zero support, you don't get to think on your own and your caught in a system that leads to no where.
All they care about is you take out student loans and you attend college to put money in their pocket. Come on! get with the program.
@Igman2020 Would you like another perfect example of that figure being wrong? watch?v=VpZtX32sKVE
You said people who go to college will make an average of a million dollars more than a non college graduate yet you also say its their fault for nothing thinking outside the box yet College DOES NOT TEACH PEOPLE TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.
Why aren't people investing for retirement if college is teaching them how to handle money? Why don't people know the rule of 72? 0_o
@Igman2020 They simply made a choice to work for themselves rather than work for someone else is what it boils down to. It's more frequent than you think. Especially now with schools and the media gearing people to go to college rather than start a business of their or become an enterpenuer. There's not a law that requires that you MUST hold a degree to start a business. Most businesses are started through college drop outs and HS graduates who end up hiring college graduates.
@Igman2020 Under an apprenticeship program it's possible.
A Series 6 allows you to give people investment advice/talk about investments and sell them legally. I should know this because I'm studying for one. I'm also going for the series 65 which will permit me to manage people with a series 6 and become an RVP. I know these things because I began entering that field back in 2005 and it's 2011. I think I know a thing or two on how that works out. ;)
@Igman2020 /watch?v=V122ICNS8_0 watch this video and listen to what they say about that million dollar number.
The point is college doesn't teach people how to manage their money, land a good paying job or even get out of debt or how those loans MUST be paid back.
@Igman2020 That myth that a "The average college graduate will earn roughly 1 million dollars more than the average high school graduate" has been debunked. If they were making a million dollars more on average why are people broke? Not saving any money for retirement? Why is that 1 out of 100 persons wealthly? Sure not everyone becomes a bill gates or a warren buffett but not everyone who goes to college will come out making great money or finanically independant either.
@Igman2020 Anything can be attained without a college degree. I'm also in Finance and I can tell you that you don't need a degree. All you need is a series 65 license and you can manage anyone under your wing. Anyone who starts a business doesn't need a required license which is why a lot of these CEO's don't have a college education instead they hire people with the college degree.
@Igman2020 My mentor started a business of his own and is currently 47 years old and has a 2.5 million dollar house and makes an average of 2million a year doing finance and investments. No college education just getting the basic licenses to sell products legally. Under him he has trained many people who make beyond 150k a year without a college education themselves. $18,000 cash, not many people with a college education have $2000 dollars free in their bank account after 10 years with a degree
@Igman2020 ROFLMAO. Were? Most people don't make good money with a masters degree. I don't see them sporting Ferrari's or living in Mansions instead they aren't any better than me.
But that is true if you know were to invest. Take the $7200 invest that at a conservative 10%. And also think about it most people with a Bachelors degree have debt and don't know how to get out which works against them at only god knows what rate of return, not to mention those loans MUST be repaid.
@Igman2020 Thats why there's many people out there without a college degree who's making bank while there's people with a masters working at Walmart broke as fuck. You invest $900 lets just say a month vs paying student loans or paying tutouion your going to be better off finanically than almost anyone with a college education after it's all said and done. I said the rule of 72! not $7200, go look it up and see what I'm talking about and do the numbers yourself.
Respect for this dude , I went to college cause i wanted to get laid whith lots of girls turned out lots of um were gay girls or lesbees so I had to find girls in a bar lest that was more marriage type then fu## college, and university
A lot of what you stated in your video clip was dead on point. The points you made were very clear. It's been said that college is one big scam. The more the government allows students to receive loans, the more money college institutions can make. I always figured college is a low key hustle. You're definitely right about one thing, college DOES NOT guarantee a job in the career field you're majoring in. Point blank. Great video!! Keep up the good work.
BTW be careful about blatantly fucking lying! You stated that you dropped out at twelve years old....right (3:12)? That you were in the process of getting a scholarship to Ohio State? Then you state that the last time you were in a college classroom you were eleven...hmmm doesn't sound like your timeline matches your story. There are many different fields in math, just so you know. What field did you study at 9? The field of lying hypocritical douche bags? "Empirically address cancer?" How dick?
Talking about corporate lies while smoking a cig. Wow, here is a word to build your vocabulary: hypocrite. Why do you support companies that have historically targeted Africans? If your really a "revolutionary" why do you work in corporate America? specifically in marketing? Doesn't sound very "revolutionary" or like you want to destroy this system, it sounds like your sucking the systems dick! I'm sure 90% of what you have said is a complete lie. FYI, IQ has nothing to do with education genius.
i think that's why america is suffering because we have a nation of idiots running everything (i.e. senators, government employees).bad doctors, dumb cops, bad lawyers, ignorant teachers, dumb hr, etc.... you are right, the slaves did build the white house, however, they were highly intelligent; they just didn't speak english. knowledge is power and without it; we are going to continue to be a nation of idiots! no disrespect to be honest, that works for you because you are white! seriously
The real money in America has always been earned through industry and the historical epicenter of industry in early 'America' was the North (i.e. not where the slaves lived). I am not trying to minimize the suffering that slaves endured in 'the new world' but the amount of money gained from slavery enriched only those few who owned plantations and those involved in the slave trade (including some blacks, jews and arabs).
True....but the Establishment cocksuckers will hate you when you trespass on their teritory....eg; if you practice Law without a degree and license and all that fucking shit.
I grew up knowing many teachers and what was odd to me was that these "teachers" were all messed up and had f**** up personal lives so that was my first red flag that something was wrong. I then came around to reading the works of John Taylor Gatto, and his research on compulsory schooling, and that was the big eye opener for me as to why our schools preform so poorly and why people are so dumb. It's all planed fokes.
making yourself "invaluable" is exactly the way to go... if only I knew this 4 years ago:( Im so close from graduating law school that I can't afford to quit now.
So, what do you think about HBCUs? I am not playing devil's advocate at all...just wondering what your take would be. Maybe you could do a video on that? By the way, I love your video, it has helped me out so much. Dr.John Henrik Clarke=no college degree? Say it ain't so.......appreciate it!
Better yet, you can make videos showing people how well you understand and perform your craft, post them on youtube, put your url on a business card, and let that be your resume instead of some piece of paper with words on it.
wow, i wish i could have met you when i was 17. I went to college and burned out in two years, but kept plugging along when my heart was'nt in it. I put up with racism and sexism for a BFA that i can't do shit with now. I have never been able to do anything but be a sub-teacher and a phone operator. i resent working at jobs a stupid high schooler can get. man i wish,i wish,i wish you could help me get set. I think it is too late for me now. :-(
What people don't realize is that the only thing college can do is throw facts at you; college can't make you less stupid. Once you forget the facts you learned in college what do you have?
I agree that in most cases a college degree is worthless and will get you into debt, there are still some degrees that are decent. I have a Bachelor's in Computer Science and work as a Software Engineer (contractor). Most of the clients I work for have required a degree. Without my degree it would be much more difficult for me to land jobs. My schooling was fairly inexpensive too, only $900/semester (this was in the 90's though, I'm sure the price has gone up).
@TheSolidOnyx I went to North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Bachelor's in Computer Science. Was cheap to attend in-state back in the 90's. Not sure about now though.
@TheSolidOnyx A Bachelor's from a tech school o.O? College teaches capitalism? I thought college was full of Marxist, evil, liberal, godless, hateful unpatriotic professors(people I wouldn't mind hanging out with)?
@immune2lies Invest that $900 a semester into a mutual fund at lets just say 10% or so for about 5 years straight and you'll have a decent amount of cash stacked up more than most people will every make their life time with a bachelors degree.
Those who know how to build were Taught NOT many can just grab a shovel and create a Solid Structure to inhabit safely. Comes down to the Influence on the job
Some get a sports medicine degree own a seat on the Merc, @ $100k daily,
Called Family, Redundancy repetitiveness is your college degree. COLLEGE expenses R OUTRAGEOUS tuitions are paying for New Sports Complex's. HOW OLD IS OXFORD 1096 AD scholars are studying in Millennium... Drs R paying tuitions well after graduation FREE EDUCATION
Sure those guys didn't have formal educations but with the today's economy you practically have to have one just to get a job, that is unless you're someone with crazy street savvy. There have also been studies that have shown college graduates make more than non college graduates. Keep in mind I'm not re-reinforcing the particular means of education in America, I'm just saying you need that piece of paper if you don't wanna live in a van down by the river.
@dz1ncha - He was just in the right place at the right time with about $50,000 cash, and he beat Steve Jobs to the punch. It's great to put your name on something that someone else created.
Listening to this its like my stand on martial arts, who needs a certificate to say you know how to punch, kick, throw or grapple with another person. A certificate will not kick someone's ass for you. Like my college degree will not get me a job lol
i had a teacher in high school just like you. i asked him why are you a teacher then, if u don't beleive in obtaining a college education. he said i chose to become a teacher so i could reach out to a new generation, and tell them things.
I remember when I was in my senior year of highschool. Especially during the last semester, all our teachers were pushing college on us, pamphlets, recruiters, pencils and water bottles with colleges written on them. Only one teacher actually told us that college is not essential for making money and becoming successful, then he told us NOT to tell any of the staff or faculty that he had told us that. Isn't that great?
@ar061788 I went to a J.C. and then a tech school not a traditional university to become a construction contractor and the manager (who is a woman by the way and went to UC San Diego) doesn't know what the hell she is doing and relies on me to tell her what her job is yet she gets paid more than I do. I do more, she just walks around and listens to what I say then agrees and leaves again.
@TheSolidOnyx My wife is going to college and she comes to he everyday asking me to help her with her homework and she calls me uneducated because I dont have a High School diploma, aint that some shit?
seriously , empirically addressing the issue of medicine ? Apart from that there is a great deal of truth in the fact you don't need around 3/4 of the stuff you learn in college . But you need the rest , and you need the "paper" to get a job , at least as a doctor . Treating people without a "paper" is a crime.
@Monarch3436 Exactly how we are using the white mans very "own technology white men claim that he created" against him. This is what we use youtube for. We can spread messages that are against you. Nothing you can do about it.
@Monarch3436 It's time to turn away from your western conditioning. If we do go to college, we should use the knowledge we gain against you and the system.
College is BS. I'm not yet like your friend, who makes 10-20k / month, but I'm getting there. 60k/year from adsense. I also sell ecigs. You might want to try an ecig man. :)
- doesn't guarantee anything, yet comes across that it does guarantee you will make money. What you really need is dedication as well as knowledge.
- You can easily go out and learn things yourself.
I disagree:
- Thats its useless. All it is is what youd end up reading on your own, formed into a standardized system that helps you stay dedicated and make connections. Its not such a bad thing, its that its overpriced that is the real issue.

Racists are very retarded.
kittykat979 3 months ago
@kittykat979 Jesus did exist and he was born in Israel, not the Congo... Go visit Israel and you will see the people there are not black, they are white. I have seen plenty of Israelis with very European features (including blonde hair, blue eyes/green eyes). Nobody can be sure how he looked, but he definitely wasn't black.
elitestar 1 month ago
@elitestar sorry but your comment makes no sense. on one hand you say 'nobody can be sure how he looked" then on the other you say "he definitely wasn't black". your confused he was brown or darker which would make him black.truthfully his message is the only thing that matters.
Faithwalker82 1 month ago

Get deeper in debt for what??

We need to have a national shut down so we can come together in truth.

that razor u shaved ur beard with, ur clothes, the smoke, the glasses. are all aspects of this wester civilisation. yes college may be a waste at first but the only way to overcome that is to use college to further develop this western society. using college and going against it is pointless. i would liek to come against it too but we cant do anything bout its existence. so best thing to do is go to college and work for the system
mrserkoz 6 months ago

SeanP7195 7 months ago
I hope this is satire. Telling people NOT to get a formal education, while enjoying all the benefits of Western civilization that was constructed by many people who in fact went to college, seems a bit hypocritical. You want to destroy this civilization? How funny is it that the people who have leeched on the tit of western society their whole lives somehow come up with an idea of destroying that very same civilization. Move to Somalia. Problem solved.

Invertedzero 6 months ago

At the end of the day, I want to graduate from college just so I can say I did.
kermitcintronsucks 5 months ago
@TheSolidOnyx Sure there are some careers that don't require a college degree however when you bluntly state that college is useless, that is when I disagree with you. There are many VITAL careers that require a college education. Healthcare is a prime example. Doctors, nurses, scientists, etc.

@ikanipo Oh please, you think the world was at a stand still before university education, which is nothing but a training system for sheeple? Best thing I learned in university was that success depends on a sheeple mentality, not intelligence. Those I saw succeed in the psychology industry were foolish kids with no life experience.
Brahma3Enthroned 6 months ago
@ikanipo The reason why in America many are told not to go to college is because 1) there are no jobs, 2) this is the main reason, college tuition here is ridicously expensive, so when you graduate you are already in bankrupcy at the very start of your life. I think the point is to be educated, but not getting a formar education. Ex: being educated = learning by reading, learning a trade, using thinking skills. Formal education = what you learn in college.
lvergara87 5 months ago
@ikanipo If all of us become doctors..lawyers..scientist..then who the heck do anything else. We've too much of those...but don't have enough jobs for those people.Inventing and innovation usually come from one individual or another..college don't make these innovations..the people going to college probably already are talented and hardworking and would've succeed anyways. You have to prove that college makes them intelligent and not just use these people to increase there reputation.
TeranDios 4 months ago

Stay out of debt and invest is the key.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 I said the series 65 allows people to manage people with a series 6. Thus you can become an RVP or regional manager and mange people who sell investments. You aren't a very good listener.
All the series 7 is just a stock broker license. I know a few stock brokers who make good money. At the end of the day ill trust my good friend without a college degree who drives a Lamborghini than someone with a 5 college degree who sports a BMW.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 They don't teach students this as they are walking in the door and signing their lives away. In fact it's worst than enlisting in the united states military. You get zero support, you don't get to think on your own and your caught in a system that leads to no where.
All they care about is you take out student loans and you attend college to put money in their pocket. Come on! get with the program.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 Would you like another perfect example of that figure being wrong? watch?v=VpZtX32sKVE
You said people who go to college will make an average of a million dollars more than a non college graduate yet you also say its their fault for nothing thinking outside the box yet College DOES NOT TEACH PEOPLE TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX.
Why aren't people investing for retirement if college is teaching them how to handle money? Why don't people know the rule of 72? 0_o
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 They simply made a choice to work for themselves rather than work for someone else is what it boils down to. It's more frequent than you think. Especially now with schools and the media gearing people to go to college rather than start a business of their or become an enterpenuer. There's not a law that requires that you MUST hold a degree to start a business. Most businesses are started through college drop outs and HS graduates who end up hiring college graduates.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 Under an apprenticeship program it's possible.
A Series 6 allows you to give people investment advice/talk about investments and sell them legally. I should know this because I'm studying for one. I'm also going for the series 65 which will permit me to manage people with a series 6 and become an RVP. I know these things because I began entering that field back in 2005 and it's 2011. I think I know a thing or two on how that works out. ;)
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 /watch?v=V122ICNS8_0 watch this video and listen to what they say about that million dollar number.
The point is college doesn't teach people how to manage their money, land a good paying job or even get out of debt or how those loans MUST be paid back.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 That myth that a "The average college graduate will earn roughly 1 million dollars more than the average high school graduate" has been debunked. If they were making a million dollars more on average why are people broke? Not saving any money for retirement? Why is that 1 out of 100 persons wealthly? Sure not everyone becomes a bill gates or a warren buffett but not everyone who goes to college will come out making great money or finanically independant either.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 Anything can be attained without a college degree. I'm also in Finance and I can tell you that you don't need a degree. All you need is a series 65 license and you can manage anyone under your wing. Anyone who starts a business doesn't need a required license which is why a lot of these CEO's don't have a college education instead they hire people with the college degree.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 My mentor started a business of his own and is currently 47 years old and has a 2.5 million dollar house and makes an average of 2million a year doing finance and investments. No college education just getting the basic licenses to sell products legally. Under him he has trained many people who make beyond 150k a year without a college education themselves. $18,000 cash, not many people with a college education have $2000 dollars free in their bank account after 10 years with a degree
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 ROFLMAO. Were? Most people don't make good money with a masters degree. I don't see them sporting Ferrari's or living in Mansions instead they aren't any better than me.
But that is true if you know were to invest. Take the $7200 invest that at a conservative 10%. And also think about it most people with a Bachelors degree have debt and don't know how to get out which works against them at only god knows what rate of return, not to mention those loans MUST be repaid.
vfIskullangel 8 months ago
@Igman2020 Thats why there's many people out there without a college degree who's making bank while there's people with a masters working at Walmart broke as fuck. You invest $900 lets just say a month vs paying student loans or paying tutouion your going to be better off finanically than almost anyone with a college education after it's all said and done. I said the rule of 72! not $7200, go look it up and see what I'm talking about and do the numbers yourself.

A lot of what you stated in your video clip was dead on point. The points you made were very clear. It's been said that college is one big scam. You're definitely right about one thing, college DOES NOT guarantee a job in the career field you're majoring in. Point blank. Great video!! Keep up the good work.

@dz1ncha - He was just in the right place at the right time with about $50,000 cash, and he beat Steve Jobs to the punch. It's great to put your name on something that someone else created.

@laurarox01 i wish i could live like that. i'd be happier living like a freakin' hippie than in today's society.

@TheSolidOnyx that's sad ... is there are 4 more women for 1 every law degree - we're all fucked!

@ar061788 - There are hot girls in bars and pubs and it's a lot cheaper than college.
maniccrayon 1 year ago
@ar061788 I went to a J.C. and then a tech school not a traditional university to become a construction contractor and the manager (who is a woman by the way and went to UC San Diego) doesn't know what the hell she is doing and relies on me to tell her what her job is yet she gets paid more than I do. I do more, she just walks around and listens to what I say then agrees and leaves again.

seriously , empirically addressing the issue of medicine ?

I agree formal education:
- is overpriced
- doesn't guarantee anything, yet comes across that it does guarantee you will make money. What you really need is dedication as well as knowledge.
- You can easily go out and learn things yourself.
I disagree:
- Thats its useless. All it is is what youd end up reading on your own, formed into a standardized system that helps you stay dedicated and make connections. Its not such a bad thing, its that its overpriced that is the real issue.
