  • Great work my man, music is all about the playing no mater the noise!

  • Great song super synth

  • goeie track

  • Very nice cover. I see you have a Gia & other nice synths. I've a Roland Juno, an SH-201 as well as others. I'm nearly finished my version of R F Elec & Airlane as well as others I'm doing. Hard work at times but well worth it but it's only a hobby. I've been a Numan fan for years & I'm hoping to send of to him the demos I've done. Cheers from Rich

  • Hi Rich. Very good work there with the music & please up load more G N covers. I do covers of G Nmn, Krftwrk, all time classics, I sing. I've Juno G I record the G N stuff Krftw & my own stuff on but music is a hobby. I'm doing R frds Elc, Airlane, Neon Lights & a few others. My midi skills are non excistant but I like to use midi as a hobby how to sychronise in midi clock & other useful tips. Can you advies? Cheers from Rich

  • Thanks for your comments.

it's a hobby for me to, i started again 2 yrs ago and it is a bit going out of hand (acc. to my girl Sylvia) .I am working on my own stuff GN and DM .I love your Models vid, but i gues you used MIDI for drums and bass for that track. I have no experience with gear pre-MIDI but i would like to change thoughts on this. Or You taped drums and bass on the tape machine, that requires perfect timing. good job, maybe we could communicate outside youtube.

  • Great, the JP-8000 is a great synth. Not only for trance, you can get some vintage like sounds out of it, just be carefull with the dalay and chorus levels-it might get it to sound a bit metalic. I have to replace mine's battery since pitchbender and ribbon aren't responding correct anymore. Tip: keep the orig manual nice and tidy and print out a pdf version for daily use! One day when you want/have to sale it you can present the original manual. need any doc, let me know ie the service manual.

  • non va a tempo con la versione originale , non si può cantare. Peccato, è una grande versione! potresti farne una uguale alla originale?

  • Awesome!

  • Great sounds nice drums ,Excellent cover.

  • Good job on drums and sounds... Yeaaa.. and beautiful vintage instruments in your home recording setup... Greetings from Italy

  • @JackOasys

Grazie mille. I originaly make Trance, under the name Neutral State, but lately i am really into Gary's work. because it is so lovely to work on that massive sound.

    Currently working on CARS.

    Ciao Italia, Numan per sempre

  • HIi, great sound, thumbs up !!

  • Excellent cover! regards from patrick (gary numan unauthrorised)

    look forward to more!

  • Nice cover. Great sounds and drums. I agree, the Virus is a great synth for vintage sounds and especially Numan type sounds from the Pleasure Principle album.

  • @STEVEL361 Thanks! do you have any idea if for instance the Virus C would make a worthwhile addition to the Virus b? Or is it mainly the same with more memory , more modulation routings. I see prices of the C being around 700 while the b is doing around 400, so i guess there must be something extra to it. I can't figure out exactly what. In the future i wish for a Ti2 or a Dave Smith Prohpeht 08.

But then again i already got quit a lot, but it is never anough, is it? :-)

    cheers

    Richard

  • @RicardoDiLago Richard, I'm afraid I'm no expert on the two Virus modules. I've recently bought a Virus TI2 keyboard, not the module as I like to use it as a stand alone synth whlist I learn about midi, sequencing etc which I find rather complicated at the moment. I blame my age !! Nice set up you have by the way.

  • @RicardoDiLago Just bought a Roland JP 8000...can't wait for it to arrive !
