I noticed that the tri offense hasn't nearly been as effective vs the Celts as it is against other teams. The Celts coaches schemed to disrupt LA's sets and screw with the spacing of the offense. In 08 I said LA was most effective with Kobe as the point in a pick and roll type setting, and I thought the same in 2010. IMO it creates the most options for the Lakers to attack and also keeps the defense spaced optimally w/ 3 point shooters, and more room for Kobe to work.

It must've been a little frustrating for the Lakers coaches to have to resort to such one on one, non-team basketball to win. When you have the best player on the floor, you go with what you got. But I still feel they would've had an easier time if they had ran the offense quicker and better, rather than resorting to bad spacing (defense had something to do with it, but the Lakers were equally at fault)

Good breakdown, it's been highlighted from almost the Western Conference FInals that when Kobe brings up the ball he is out there to score. And since he is the best player on the floor this can bring up opportunities for Kobe to score as well as for his teammates.

I think Big Baby has to have a big game like he did in Game 4 - he hasn't scored a single point in the last 2 games. If the refs give him the calls down low, he has a chance - since he's so small they'll usually block his shot unless the refs give him the FTs.

And then they'll need 2 other guys to step up - I agree that it has to be Ray Ray and then either Pierce of KG or Rondo
