Primer or tinted moisturizer?

The craziest thing i've heard is milk of magnesia as a face primer. I tried it....OMG- it's the best! It controls oil and shine and my make up lasts alll day long (foundation goes on flawless).. It gets rid of redness too. The stuff is amazing. Try it. Look up the videos on youtube.

i used a natural aloe vera rather then this BOX aloevera, i took out the stem and got it but it was in chunks and not in this creamy texture! it had chunks which never resolved but still it released the sticky aloevera matertial...i added olay moisturiser, but it was thin in cosistency, so my batter became thin :( and not creamy like urs...................:|!

Soo, since you put the foundation in the primer, theres no reason to use foundation after, witch means theres no reason to make the "primer"?

@Whippoful Primer is something which makes ur skin ready for the makeup or foundation. Primer should have concealer in it so it clears and hide any spots BEFORE u put foundation. Yeah, adding Concealer is correct rather than a foundation.

@elyn78 yes! just take it out from the stem (the GEL) and apply in ur hair...root to tip, and wash after sometime. If it comes to skin, you can use RAW aloe vera as a mask on ur face too, but if u have any breakouts, then u shud test ur skin first.

if you don't have oily eyelids or need super lasting power, this works out just fine for an everyday look :)

of course an actual primer would be better, as this would come off easier. but then if you consider the price as , this homemade version may be a better buy~

@arendir silicones are damaging. they're in nearly every shampoo and product I know this cause i have curly hair and silicones are made for people with straight hair as its a more common hair type, it causes frizz, splits and coats hair also it can block the follicles of the hair causing hair to fall out....i dont want to stick them on my face, but my makeup lasts and entire day without primers....Just some facts for curly haired people there

Vaseline or petroleum jelly is horrible to put on your skin especially if it's oily or acne prone. It will clog your pores. This must be for very young people since I don't see any benefits like reducing the look of pores or fine lines.Also the fact that so many ask where to find aloe. I don't see much benefit, it looks like just a moisturizer to me and a tinted one with the foundation.
