  • Quite possibly the most remarkably stupid idiot that has ever been on Question Time...Yes im sure it was very cozy snowed in with your brother but I doubt that the people who couldnt get to work and earn money to feed their families thought that ' oh yes, its just brought us all together'..As for his,'Its Dickensian..its Dickensian' remarks, jesus, we live in a very, very strange world when people like him can be afforded anything more than our ridicule..

  • i have to say i am not homophobic in the slightest but that was extremely funny. I do remember seeing the whole episode and he has no innovational ideas none what so ever as he just tries to sound like lots of other people and how the fuck he got a degree in politics i dont know when all he does is just copy a few lexicon riffs from other politicians just to try and make him sound intelligent.

  • I actually found the voice to be quite funny.

  • Wow. Just.... wow.

You probably shouldn't be allowed to watch Question Time.

  • Wow, what an asinine video.

  • lol

  • Thats defintly not how he talks.

  • Pathetic video. I remember Will Young's answers on this edition of QT. They were among the most thoughtful and considered I've heard among the, often bullish, panellists.

  • fail to see why you needed a funny voice ... defeats the purpose

  • Mr Slave "ohhh jesusss christ"

  • he did woefully when he was on

  • Batty boy,go to Jamaica for yer hols ya fag.

  • too much time on your hands prick..

it was that funny my sides started to bleed.. "not"

  • to much time on your hands prick....

it was that funny my sides started to bleed... "NOT"

  • lol

  • come on guys! take a joke, this is a superb overdub and very funny, regardless of any backround or motivation, just laugh..lol

  • is there a normal version? I can't understand. Will has a degree in politics I think his opinion is as valid as anyones on a show like this...

  • @4pmorgan there are hundreds of thousands of people better qualified to talk about politics than will young. his prestigous "degree in politics" that you speak of was a 2:2 from exeter, doesn't really make him seem that qualified given the wealth of educational and professional experience that everybody else on just about any question time panel have.

  • he aint gay anymore...is he?...but then again that has nothing to do with it as long as he is against the terrible crimes this goverment commit abroad and here in our backyards.

  • Thankyou! And yes, WY is still gay.

  • that was cruel

  • Ok I've said it before and I'll say it again, this has NOTHING to do with his sexuality, its that he's an airhead. Message Toshiba800, he has the word for word transcript and you will see this piss take is word for word

  • Just in case you thought I was: I wasn't talking about the video.

  • EXACTLY... the move from spouting shite in one fake industry to another should be easy... and he could be Mandys sebastian... back door boy

  • Pathetic.

  • I myself am gay, but I found this hilarious.

    Nice work. hahaa

  • Yeah? Well, maybe you'd like to make a bit clearer the fact that it was the Labour party you were opposing.

The fact is, if children aren't taught about homosexuality early enough in their education, there is a good chance that they will never come to terms with it. There are blatant enough examples of that in the kids at the school I occupy. Regarding your comment on WY, I forgot to say that I will gladly state some song titles for you to listen to to prove he doesn't only sing in falsetto.

  • I am ashamed to say that I don't know who Ricky Gervais is, but I shall look him up on Wikipedia. =]

Still, I have to say that whatever his ability to express politics, I love Will Young's singing, and do you know what? I'm gonna post that comment anyway.

    !!!!!

  • It's funny, soon after posting that comment I saw the Will Young Question time (only the bit where he's asked about snow though) on tv. Irony can be pretty ironic sometimes.

Yeah, I get what ya mean about Youtube comments - some of the insults I've read on here are just... insultingly evil. Absolutely horrible. And then there's the people who insist on posting nasty things about celebrities that just don't add up as they keep posting them. Despicable humans. Ugh.

  • ...think I should post my scathing + scornful reply to the ignorant pig 'crankcase'? Coz seriously, I am sorely tempted.

  • I can't advise you on what to say but this is youtube after all - and saying the comments are childish is an insult to children.

You should always expect the worst when you read any youtube comments. Good punctuation, lack of personal insults etc. is always a bonus but very rare.

Regarding Mr Young - if you watch all the episode you will understand how bad it was. Ricky Gervais could not have made something as awkward as this.

  • TOSHIBA

Hi, me again. Thankyou for posting the transcript, I am very sorry that we disagree too, because you seem like an intelligent person. ? =] I have now made up my mind:

Ok, I can see what you mean, he does sound vague... and rather... indecisive. Still, some of what he said was true, "it's nice that we can unite in something other than fear in this time of a global economic crisis". However, the rest of what he said wasn't particularly outstanding or groundbreaking. By the way, do you

  • Crankcase:

You have something against gay people dn't you? (That video on your channel was a bit of a clue.) I feel sorry for you, coz gays are one of the nicest, kindest, most sensitive people on earth. Bigots are not, and that is the group you belong to.

Furthermore, you think you're SO clever because you know what a clise microphone is. Well, you just sound stupid.

  • nightwrighterBLSBBMg - you really do have a chip on your shoulder.

That video on my channel was not what you'd like to call 'homophobic'. It was from a BBC news report on TV and their website. It's nothing to do with being against gay people, it's an objection to Labour's social engineering and pushing gay lifestyles onto kids. The last thing they need is yet more sexualisation, let alone something that is likely to confuse.

The close mic thing is nothing to do with clever, just a fact.

  • @nightwrighterBLSBBMg i'm sure gay people across the world will be extremely proud of your sterling defence of them, particularly your generalisation of them.

  • @tshears It may not have been the most charmingly literate 'defence' ever made, I concede, the best worded, argued or phrased, but I prefer to say something than nothing. When deemed appropriate by the Syntax Police, of course.

  • Not funny! Will for PM!!

  • Exactly!! Will Young rocks!!!

  • I don't think that's very funny. Maybe your opinion is that he humiliated himself, but how are we supposed to form our own opinion if we can't even understand what he is saying? And bongolicious, you can shove off.

  • Its not a gay or straight thing. The issue was that this is an EXACT transcript of what he said. Not one word has been changed, added or taken away. It was empty rhetoric from someone who should stick to singing. Quite possibly the worst example of pop in politics

  • Copusadma, I would like to thank you for not flying off the handle and condemning gays. Unfortunately more and more people seem to do that nowadays at the first sign off criticism. However, I WOULD like you to consider that Will is an avid watcher of Question Time and it has always been one of his dreams to appear on the show. Even if you think what he said was ridiculous (despite him having a degree in politics), I don't think it's right to make fun of an accomplished person who just wanted

  • to express his opinion on one of his favourite shows. I mean, I could understand how you feel if I was trying to defend Paris Hilton, say, but Will Young? No, I don't think so.

  • This is not about being homophobic - some people will cling to that idea, fair enough. There have been some other awful guests (including celebs) on QT. His ability to sing is a separate issue.

Contrast Will Young to David Mitchell. Young is free to have his view but his appearance was laughable.

This is indicative of all these celebs and famous people who think they can speak on issues when they are giving 'empty rhetoric' - which is a legitimate point.

  • Well Toshiba, that is a well-structured POINT, but I will only be able to answer you when I can UNDERSTAND what he is SAYING. Copusadma is keeping me from forming my own opinion on the matter! And do you know what that can only lead to? Empty rhetoric!

  • *this comment is continued as it won't fit in one post*

i didn't know you haven't watched the original, i thought you had

here is a rough transcript - the funny voice makes it less cringeworthy, i can assure you

    the original was awful

but i'll allow you to make up your own mind now that you can see what was said

"i mean i'm sorry i disagree with you actually... and...

i think you have ... over inflated this whole thing...

  • i mean, my brother said something, he said how wonderful that this... uh we were down

in cornwall and we were snowed in and he said how wonderful how people can uh uh

you know unite in something other than fear in a time of uh uh you know global

economic crisis, what happened? hmm hmm *clap*

and the schools shut the first day ... i mean we have every 18 years we have snow

it's not something you can, you know, we aren't russia

  • and then schools shut on the tuesday and everyone complained and and a lady said

..this is a bad thing to our children(?) - uh you know it shows we give up at the slightest

thing i mean if we had opened schools we would have had people complaining it was a

health and safety thing so you can't win

this whole snow thing it really angers me you know i uh... my nephew could go out in

the snow and he'd he had a day of school and a day with his mum and i thought it was fantastic

  • i remember when we were snowed in when we were kids and we had a great time, it

makes me very sad and i think we have turned into a blameocracy!

we have to look for ... you know it snowed! .. so it could ..keep .. uh.. i'm sad for..

    DAVID - YOU ENJOY IT?

    yes!

grown men became like children and i think that's the way it should be

i dunno what we were talking about

    *clap*

  • I saw this Q.T..

He was completely out of his depth. So embarrassing It was quite painful to watch.

  • I laughed.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!

    OHHH GENIUS!!

this episode of QT was so badly ruined by his shameless appearance, asserting views on topics he knows nothing about.

Stick to the mediocre singing will

  • u fucking twat , and thats not for taking the piss out of will young but for being a past it old saddo , will you ever know what its like to live in the modern world ? poor you.
